Lauren Boebert Busts Jerry Nadler for Allegedly Sleeping During Garland Hearing – Opinion

We’re frequently telling you about the incoherence of Joe Biden.

But unfortunately we have a lot of folks in Congress as well who don’t appear like they should be there anymore and not just because their politics are out of whack. A lot of people who are close to their 80s should have left years ago. Many of the Democratic leaders fall into this category, including Nancy Pelosi (D–CA), House Speaker. She often leaves people believing she is suffering from a health problem and/or drinking too much.

Another one is Rep. Jerry Nadler (D.NY), who chairs the House Judiciary Committee and is often not in good health.

Yesterday, Nadler was agitated by multiple points raised at the hearing.

He got into a heated argument with Rep. Jim Jordan, R-OH, refusing to let a Jordan’s video into the recording. It was probably because it put an end to the awful picture that Democrats wanted to project of parents questioning how politicized the agendas they are teaching their children in schools.

Nadler was also critical of Jordan and the other Republicans who were not wearing masks at the hearing. He spoke unmasked because he was the acknowledged speaker. Nadler claimed that Jordan actually was wearing a mask, while Nadler didn’t name any others who were not covered. Apparently, according to this illogic, the virus will just move around and skip Nadler and Garland because they have the magical protection of being “recognized to speak” and they wouldn’t be spreading it when they speak for the same magical reason.

Nadler seems to have overlooked progressive Rep. Pramila Jaipal (D–WA) during his discipline of members. While she had a cup in her hand, she was not “actively drinking or eating”

However, Nadler might have been having another issue and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R–CO) called it out. She said that Nadler was asleep during the hearing.

Nadler is unable to see for more than 11 seconds. “@JerryNalder is sleeping on the job… again,” Boebert tweeted.

The House Judiciary GOP account also tweeted out her video, noting, “Maybe this is why he wouldn’t let us play our video.” That referenced the parents video that Republicans claimed Democrats didn’t want Americans to see.

Nadler was accused of nearly nodding off in the past during an impeachment hearing in December 2019, during which President Donald Trump was being impeached.
