YouTube removed an interview featuring Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson due to comments he made about COVID-19 vaccinations.
Johnson stated that he was against giving the COVID-19 vaccination to children aged 5-11 years old. Show host Dan O’Donnell said the video was removed and his account was suspended for one week.
“I have just been informed that @YouTube has removed my interview with Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson (@SenRonJohnson) and suspended my account for a week,” O’Donnell tweeted. “Johnson, A SITTING UNITED STATES SENATOR, said he disagreed with the FDA’s pending approval of vaccines for 5-11 year olds.”
Johnson also said he opposed President Biden’s pending vaccine mandate for businesses with over 100 employees. He also noted that he was not against President Biden’s pending vaccine mandate for businesses with over 100 employees. saidHe is still undecided on whether or not he will be seeking another term as president, and will need to wait several months for that decision.
O’Donnell appeared to be flabbergasted at the removal and suspension.
“The fundamental American ideal of free and open discourse between representatives of the people (Senator Johnson) and members of the press (me) is being willfully and maliciously suppressed by companies like @GooglePlatforms like Twitter and Facebook are subject to censorship. @YouTube,” he tweeted.
A video by Kamala Harris, then Senator of California, that indicated she wouldn’t get vaccined against COVID under Trump Administration is still available on YouTube.
“If Donald Trump tells us we should take [a COVID vaccine]She said, “I’m not taking it.”
Johnson’s comments about Hydroxychloroquine had been previously removed from YouTube.
Fox News reported that “YouTube’s COVID censorship continues to prove they have accumulated far too much power,” he said at the time.
