Deep blue Houston in Texas delivered bad news for Democrats who thought that the critical race theory issue would be resolved after the Virginia election. Per the Houston Chronicle, two anti-CRT candidates won school board seats in one of the nation’s largest school districts.
These results showed a continuing backlash against far left politics and racial extremism being forced upon children attending public schools.

Incumbents lost two of the four runoff elections for the Houston ISD board Saturday night, clearing the way for two new conservative trustees in the state’s largest public school district. These results are the end to campaigns that were politicized over differences in cultural talk points, which have been traditionally considered nonpartisan.
To win District 6, Pastor Kendall Baker beat Holly Maria Flynn Vilaseca, Trustee by just 100 votes. District 7: Trustee Anne Sung was defeated by Bridget Wade, former President of the PTO.
Baker and Wade received the support of prominent Texas Republicans.
You have to love the fact that the liberal Houston Chronicle still wants to pretend these races are otherwise “nonpartisan” — as long as Republicans don’t get involved to protect their children. These school board elections have never been nonpartisan, particularly when run by far-left apparatchiks who want to convert children into the religion of wakefulness.
These Democrats, regardless of their identity as Democrats or not, have been unchallenged. In the past year, however, conservatives have made a significant change in this regard. They won seats all across the nation and also won state elections by fighting cultural issues. In June I published a piece arguing that the conservatives were winning against Critical Race Theory. It received mixed reviews at the time, but I don’t think anyone would argue with me six months later, knowing what we know now. Republicans These are You will win.
This is what happens when right-leaning politicians stop playing the failure game and start fighting fire with flame. We can win these battles if we are willing to fight them, and there’s a direct correlation between these newfound victories and many in the GOP ditching the old-guard consultant class who would rather lose in style.
These issues will not go away for Democrats. Their great hope that passing Biden’s agenda will somehow make 2022 a referendum on infrastructure and government-funded childcare is a false one. Americans are awake, and they aren’t content to sit idly by while lunatics corrupt their children. There’s a reason Hispanics are fleeing the Democrat Party for the GOP over the last year, and it’s not just about the economy and immigration. The left actively seeks to discredit family as an institution. Family is the most important thing for many people.
Republicans have good news: Democrats are not planning to switch gears. They are going to keep leaning into the insanity, promoting woke-ism and insisting that race must be injected into every issue…and normal Americans will line up in droves this November to vote against them.
