Kamala Cites Her ‘Biggest Failure,’ but Is Brutally Fact-Checked by Fellow Dem’s Remark – Opinion

Kamala Harris gave an interview to Margaret Brennan on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” that finally ran today.

We’ve touched on aspects of the interview already, including her saying that the “biggest national security challenge confronting the U.S.” was our democracy because of the fear of autocracies rising around the world. The irony of her saying that, being a part of one of the most autocratic administrations we’ve ever had, pushing all kinds of mandates on Americans.

But Harris continued with the cluelessness when Brennan asked her what her “biggest failure has been at this point.”

Afghanistan is the most significant failure that the Administration has made. There are many failures. But still, given that Americans ended up dead and others were left behind, that’s pretty much it. However, you can also argue for the rampant inflation that the Americans currently face.

Her own personal biggest failure would have to be her primary job — the border — which continues to be a crisis.

What was her answer? None of these answers were logical. Instead, she cackled in response and claimed her biggest failure was “to not get out of D.C. more.”

Fox News:

“Being with the people who are directly impacted by this work, listening to them so that they, not some pundit, tells us what their priorities are. I think it’s critically important.”

“People are, people have a right to know and believe that their government actually sees and hears them. And my biggest concern is, I don’t ever want to be in a bubble when it comes to being aware of and in touch with what people need at any given moment in time.”

My goodness, I don’t know where to start.

Kamala has actually gotten out a lot — just to the places she’s wanted to go to, like Paris and to a bakery in New Jersey for sweet treats instead of to a meeting about Mexican cartels. She also took a mysterious trip to Palm Springs that she wouldn’t allow the media to see her leave on for reasons that have never been explained.

She’s been all over to campaign for Democrats. But where she hasn’t gone is the border — the job that she’s supposed to be attending to — except for a short layover for a few hours in June near the border, on her way to California.

Harris thinks it’s important to talk to the people who are impacted by their actions, and she doesn’t want to be in a bubble where she isn’t aware of that? Then why hasn’t she spoken with the Guatemalan president again since she visited there? Is he going to call her on this? And why didn’t she ever respond to Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX), a member of her party, who wanted to give her his input on the problems at the border? Cuellar stated that instead, Cuellar called her office but they didn’t even bother to return his calls.

“I say this very respectfully to her: I moved on,” Cuellar said. “She was tasked with that job, it doesn’t look like she’s very interested in this, so we are going to move on to other folks that work on this issue.”

Cuellar proved just how full Kamala Harris really is.

She didn’t do any better with answering what her “biggest accomplishment” was since taking office.

“When I go to an event, whatever it is, and some dad or some mom brings their kids — daughters, sons – and says ‘That’s your vice president,’ and challenges their kids to think about who does what, as a way, I think, of empowering their kids to know they can do anything they want – not be confined by who has traditionally done what – I think that is, that’s one of the things I, that gives me joy, is to know that, that might be a possible impact.”

That might be an impact, but it’s not an accomplishment — meaning something that she’s achieved since taking office. So, she wasn’t able to name anything she’s done. Maybe, because she hasn’t done anything. She’s left talking about “impact” rather than real achievement.

Kamala has whined about how she’s been treated by media, claiming it’s because of her race and gender. She might want to check her lack of accomplishments. It’s hard for media — even the MSM that’s constantly pumping Democrats — if you don’t have anything worth pointing out.
