John Legend Endorses SF D.A. Chesa Boudin – Opinion

It didn’t take John Legend’s endorsement of Soros-funded San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin to prove he is a walking tool. This endorsement does not prove that he’s a champagne elite.

This tweet is only one in a series of many where the EGOT-winning singer/songwriter endorses all progressive Democrats running for District Attorney across the country.

What. A. Shock.

Legend and Chrissy Teigen are the owners of several homes, but none in San Francisco. Their most recent purchase is the Beverly Hills house that they bought for $14.1million. If they feel bored after wandering through the bedrooms they can head to their West Hollywood home of 3,400 sq. feet. They also have 2 Manhattan penthouses for them to sleep in if they want to switch coasts.

What is the difference between out of touch and much?

John Legend is a Grammy-winning musician. Twitter Wednesday afternoon he is supporting San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin in his June 7 recall election. Legend claimed that he supported Boudin more than two years ago, when the district attorney ran for office.

Legend tweeted to his 13 million followers to vote no in Boudin’s recall election in a couple months.

Boudin’s recall came into question after growing concerns over public safety and criticism of his handling of several high-profile cases. Legend, despite the many people who want to remove Boudin from office, isn’t one of them.

Asian Americans are often targeted by crime, and many people must dodge drug-fueled homelessness attacks and step over needles in the streets, but Legend is transported in limousines surrounded with armed security officers.

It is possible to get so high that your head is higher than your hips.

One person Legend didn’t endorse in his thread: Michael Shellenberger, a San Francisco author, activist, and progressive Democrat who is running against Gavin Newsom for governor.

Here’s what Shellenberger had to say about Chesa Boudin:

Chesa Boudin, who ran in 2019 for San Francisco District Attorney, said that crime is caused by poverty and wealth inequality as well as inadequate spending of government funds on social programs. He called prostitution, open drug use and drug dealing “victimless crimes” and promised not to prosecute them. The result has been an increase in crime so sharp that San Francisco’s liberal residents are now paying for private security guards, taking self-defense classes, and supporting a recall of Mr. Boudin, with a vote set for June 2022. Walgreens and Target have announced that they will be closing their shops in San Francisco due to shoplifting. Unspeakably organized looters ransacked the downtown Louis Vuitton shop last week.

We’re sure Legend’s personal assistant is the one who has to watch out for the smash and grabs, since Legend and Co. probably don’t have to step foot out of the house to shop. It is possible to shop for your groceries by hiring others, if you have the means to do so.

At least, his assistant is employed. San Francisco’s rampant crime is causing companies to lose their jobs faster than those who are homeless can get hold of fentanyl. Just recently, the CEO of a cryptocurrency exchange announced that they were closing down its Market Street headquarters. San Francisco is unsafe.

A San Francisco-based cryptocurrency exchange’s CEO announced the closure of its Market Street headquarters in the city for good — and blasted San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin in the process.

Jesse Powell is the Kraken CEO, and he made this statement in response to Boudin’s recall organizer. He was also a conservative mayoral candidate. Richie Greenberg on Twitter, appeared to shame Boudin for employees getting harassed and for “crime, mental illness and drug abuse” in the city.

“San Francisco is not safe and will not be safe until we have a DA who puts the rights of law abiding citizens above those of the street criminals he so ingloriously protects,” Powell wrote in the statement. Powell also praised police in his statement, saying they were “known to arrest the same offenders dozens of times” thanks to Boudin.

John Legend is content to bounce in his bubble while looking through his Gucci rose-colored glasses and muttering about equity.

After the George Floyd rioting, looting, and violence in the Summer 2020, he wrote this. Do you think this two-year-old video looks like anarchy?

Legend went on to exaggerate. this thread:

“Police funding takes up a huge portion of our local budgets. Budgets can be described as moral documents that clearly outline our priorities. We have finite amounts of money to spend and right now we spend far too much on policing and that choice comes at a cost.”

Priorities? For example, four houses worth multimillions of dollars for four families?

Legend, lift your head off your backside so that you can grab all of the seats.
