Joe Biden’s Brain Goes Haywire in the Middle East, and That’s the Least of His Worries – Opinion

It’s been quite the week for President Joe Biden, and that’s led to a smorgasbord of material for writers here at RedState. The president’s brain farts, confusion, and general ineptness have delivered an embarrassing amount of noteworthy moments since he landed in Israel on Wednesday. His physical and mental inabilities, as well as his anger flare, were all evident. We witnessed his failure to win over the Saudis, and Biden’s walk away.

The President made this comment in his Friday presser. While he didn’t tell reporters what it meant, he boasted that he will always explain what he meant to them. This is a translation.

I’ve read the transcript of that remark about a dozen times, and all I’m getting out of it is a headache. I guess he was trying to say something akin to “I say what I mean and mean what I say”? Sincerely, I don’t know, which is a bad sign for a President of the United States who operates on the global stage. It’s easy to imagine Xi Jinping the Chinese dictator and his boys laughing at this. They don’t look at Biden and fear his competence because he exhibits none.

Is this really what we are doing? The president’s closest friends must get him back into his basement. This has become more than a joke and is now threatening American interests. Heck, does anyone think the fist bump the Saudi crown prince gave to Biden–that caused so much outrage–was meant to do anything but show the president’s capitulation, after he previously proclaimed he’d never meet with Mohammed Bin Salman?

Yet, somehow, Biden’s policies manage to be worse than his senility. In the same presser, Biden had these words to say regarding gas prices.

Even in that clip, his inability to articulate an argument is apparent; though, it’s a secondary complaint at this point. Was his visit to Saudi Arabia connected to the US’s decision to lower gas prices? There is absolutely no link, given that Biden did not receive any concessions from Saudi Arabia on their oil production.

Regardless, it’s so clear that we are dealing with a president who has no policy chops at all, and every day that his term drags on, more and more Americans are harmed. Contrary to naive suggestions that you could stick a warm body in the White House while prioritizing “normalcy,” the ability to negotiate and get things done actually matters. Biden went to Saudi Arabia with the intention of destroying a dictator and walking away with nothing. His answer? His response?

Gas prices have not fallen in any significant way even though they are at an all-time high. National average gas prices are at $4.57 per gallon. That remains a record high compared to any historical price prior to Biden’s entry into office. Is it really possible for American families to celebrate the fact that they have saved $5-10 per week on gas while fuel costs are nearly twice as high under the previous president? Oil prices are dropping because of the economic crisis and rising interest rates. So yeah, gas prices are going down… and all it took was a recession. Great job, Joe!

Many on the left, like myself, are unhappy that Biden takes almost every weekend off to Delaware. But honestly, that’s the best place for him. At least there, he’s just falling off his bike and he’s not tearing down American stature while emboldening the nation’s adversaries in the process.
