Joe Biden’s Approval Numbers Hit a New Low, Show Horrifying Trend for Dems – Opinion

Just when you think he can’t go lower, he does. We all believed Joe Biden would get lower approval ratings, but the Quinnipiac survey has shown that his numbers are as high as a punch in the face.

To be clear, this isn’t just a record low for Biden in this specific poll, but as far as I can tell, it’s a record low overall, regarding any poll. At the moment, it’s the deepest hole in which the President has been. It’s also a five-point drop in just a week.

When you break down the numbers, things don’t get any better. Actually, his approval breakdown is likely more surprising (at least to Democrats) than the overall number. Hispanic Americans, for example, give President Obama a 25% approval rating. Independents? 26 percent.

These Hispanic figures are just too terrible for the government. RedState published Tuesday’s report that new polling from Nevada shows that Democrats are already facing a difficult time in the once-safe state of blue. The latest approval numbers support the claim that Hispanic voters may be shifting to the GOP, which could lead to swing election results. Being sub-30 percent with independents, who are typically swing voters, is a real “for whom the bell tolls” moment as well.

Biden is able to score high marks in two categories of Americans, White college-educated women and African Americans. Now, the President could launch a nuclear attack and appear naked in the State of the Union. Those two demographics are still giving him good marks. There’s no sense behind it. Blind partisanship.

Regardless, that’s not going to be enough to save Biden and his party. The poll shows that things look grim. The poll found that 68 percent believe the U.S. should have done more to end the violence in Ukraine. That’s a rebuke of the administration on an issue that was supposed to favor them. On sanctions, the respondents were evenly split on whether they’ll be effective or not.

Biden probably liked that this Quinnipiac Poll (they alternate back and forth between versions) didn’t measure domestic economy questions. The numbers would be terrible if they did, and inflation figures will only make matters worse.

This is it. Biden’s presidency is a disaster, there’s no hope for it on the horizon, and Democrats will suffer greatly come November. Be sure to come back for the next installment of “how low can he go?”
