“[T]hey’re going to want a list of names and she’s going to give it to them.”
After The Washington Post reported earlier this week that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez intended on putting fellow Democrats who voted with Republicans on a “list,” Hollywood actor James Woods called her a “bona fide” communist.
#ComradeCortez is taking names. This one is a bona fide communist, right down to her “enemies” lists. Re-education camps next? https://t.co/gAHIO3DXnm

“#ComradeCortez is taking names,” the conservative provocateur, who boasts more than two million followers on Twitter, wrote. “This one is a bona fide communist, right down to her ‘enemies’ lists. Re-education camps next?”

In a report centered around prominent Democrats’ frustrations with the more moderate elements of their party, The Post quoted Ocasio-Cortez’s spokesman Corbin Trent. Trent detailed his boss’ displeasure with the more than two dozen Democrats who defied the party line and voted with Republicans on a legislative amendment to a background checks bill, which would require Immigration and Customs Enforcement to be alerted in the event an illegal immigrant attempts to purchase a firearm.
“She said that when activists ask her why she had to vote for a gun safety bill that also further empowers an agency that forcibly injects kids with psychotropic drugs, they’re going to want a list of names and she’s going to give it to them,” Trent said.

Woods, a frequent critic of the freshman congresswoman, may have been alluding to Ocasio-Cortez’s purportedly radical economic policy stances, as well as her close ties to Sen. Bernie Sanders, when he made the remarks about “ComradeCortez.”
Last month, a 1985 video resurfaced that showed Sanders admitting that he had advised communist leaders on how to “manipulate” Americans.
