Justice is blind. In the case of Democrats, she’s blind, deaf, and dumb.
Eric Holder did not face retribution after defying subpoenas. Hillary Clinton ought to have been brought before Lady Justice. But she was not subject to retribution. Michael Sussman her crony attorney was also tried but was found not guilty. The juror wondered why the jury had to listen. She thought she could do better.
None of the people who illegally demonstrated in front of Supreme Court justices’ homes were ever charged, notwithstanding that multiple state and federal laws deem it illegal.
Stephen Colbert dispatched a group of criminals to the Capitol in an attempt to disturb and disrupt. That’s exactly what they did. They entered illegally three times and then paraded through Capitol. They were determined to disrupt and disturb. They banged on doors, and they were eventually arrested. Are you familiar with this? The charges were dropped. Twelve years ago, Stephen Colbert was called as a “witness,” in character, by Democrats.
Here is Mark Aungst, a J6 defendant’s pleading. He simply entered the Capitol and took photos. He agreed to go when he was asked. He was arrested and charged. He took his own life.
Parading was accused of a grandmother suffering from cancer. She’s sitting in a jail cell.
Political hacks like the Lincoln Project and leftist media like the New York Times cannot let go of the notion that “democracy was on the brink” on J6. No it wasn’t. The New York Times makes fun of J6 defendants. They were armed only with cellphones and MAGA caps, but they were not prepared to bring down the country. The Times wants you to believe that Sri Lanka’s fall of government by a mob was complely peaceful because, unlike J6, there were “no weapons”.

Most of the people charged are not high-hanging fruit. People who thought it was “cute” to take photos in the Capitol and then publish them on Facebook, our crack FBI agents swooped in and nabbed those criminal grandmas and charged them all with misdemeanors. The Justice Department wanted its “pound of flesh.” What is parading in the Capitol? Visit prison. Ray Epps egging people on? Meh. But parade in front of a Supreme Court Justice’s home? DOJ can’t be bothered. Is leftist violence a problem? Meh.
I’m not, and have never been, a defense of lunatics that broke into Capitol buildings and stole or hurt law enforcement. They should be imprisoned. I’m sorry. But when the “face” of J6 is a clown who wore a buffalo headdress and walked into the House chamber, bellowing at an imaginary moon, I’m not down with “democracy was on the brink.” He got 41 months in prison. Ray Epps? Epps was able to complain to the New York Times. Epps, for the NY Times is a victim.
When Democrats are in control, we have a system with two levels. When George Orwell wrote “Animal Farm,” it was intended as political satire. He wrote “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” It’s no longer satire.
The Democrat is in Charge While all defendants can be held to the same standard, some of them are better than others..
