In-N-Out Takes a Defiant Stand Against San Francisco’s Draconian Vaccine Mandates – Opinion

The city of San Francisco struck back at wildly popular burger chain “In-N-Out” after it defied the city’s COVID mandates.

According to KRON4, the San Francisco Department of Public Health closed the Fisherman’s Warf In-N-Out location after they refused to check customers’ vaccination documentation. As of this writing, the restaurant has reopened but is no longer allowing dining indoors.

While the restaurant did post the city’s requirements on its front door, it did not enforce them.

KRON reported that In-N-Out issued a statement defying San Francisco’s policies on COVID, effectively saying it will not help discriminate between its customers based on vaccinations:

“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” In-N-Out Chief Legal & Business Officer Arnie Wensinger said. “We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business.”

San Francisco mandated in August customers who dine indoor must show proof of full vaccination.

These vaccine mandates are part of California’s draconian effort to enforce vaccinations on the public, with major cities like San Francisco implementing what amount to the need for vaccine passports in order to use services within the city. The rules enforced on citizens don’t seem to apply to the rule-makers as it was revealed earlier this month that Newsom hasn’t vaccinated his daughter. This is the same Newsom that was caught dining in at the high-end restaurant “The French Laundry” after effectively locking down his state.

In-N-Out’s decision to defy the vaccine mandates may come as no surprise to some who understand the company’s values. Despite being California-based, it is an openly Christian company with the owner, tattooed rocker Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson, not only promoting a Christian-based life to anyone who will listen but the company once angered Democrats after it donated $25,000 to the Trump campaign in 2018 according to SFGate.

The discovery caused the leftist mob to become enraged and call for a boycott that didn’t get very far.

“Yo, In N Out could give the California GOP $30 MILLION in contributions and I’ll still keep eating there,” one person said according to SFGate.

Given these qualities, the chances that In-N-Out would resist these vaccine requirements were always high. The question is, who will be following the burger chain’s lead?
