GOP Rep Demolishes FBI Flack Over ‘Domestic Terrorism’ Corruption – Opinion

Do you know of any other federal agency that has suffered more credibility in the last 10 years than the FBI. Although the once-storied bureau has a history of pushing boundaries, a polling the public 10 years ago would have shown it to be highly regarded.

These days have passed, however, and the FBI is now a highly politicized organization that works against all sides of the political spectrum. The plot to kill and kidnap the Michigan governor is one of the most striking examples. Gretchen Whitmer is a Democrat.

The announcement of that “plot” was made just a month before the 2020 presidential election, providing ample fodder for the left and their media allies to proclaim that Republicans had somehow instigated the scheme. But it was obvious that something wasn’t right from the beginning. Back in mid-2021, I wrote an article entitled “It Sure Looks Like the FBI Basically Orchestrated the Gretchen Whitmer Kidnapping Plot,” and once the first trial began, that analysis was quickly vindicated. While two of the defendants were acquitted of entrapment, the other two are still awaiting trial.

Despite that embarrassing outcome and the stink of corruption around the FBI’s actions, the bureau has yet to be held accountable, though. Rep. Dan Bishop, a Republican from Texas tried to obtain answers when he questioned Matthew Olsen of the FBI about details in the Whitmer case.

Bishop takes you through the process step-by-step, and reveals that an informant received $54,000. In order to attract people, tax payer money was used for travel and alcohol. Further, the FBI originated the plan to “kill” Whitmer, with agents congratulating each other for successfully putting a group together to carry out the plot. They even provided a “how-to” bomb-making video for those who would eventually be charged.

It was an intentional act of domestic terror. Your money was used by the FBI to set up a plot against a Democrat Governor that happened right before 2020. And Olsen’s response is to claim he can’t comment over and over.

Bishop revealed that the FBI/informant pair tried to plot the same attack against Governor Ralph Northam. Ralph Northam.

I’m sure it’s a coincidence that these “domestic terrorism” schemes just so happened to benefit Democrats prior to a major election, right? There is no way to combat the weaponization of FBI agents. Where’s Dir. Christopher Wray. The answer is that he’s off making excuses and “protecting the shield.”

It is quite disturbing to see the arrogance displayed by FBI officers when oversight is being conducted. They believe that they can ignore the law and, more important, they don’t have to answer for the votes. Nothing will change until the bureau’s entire structure is destroyed. We can then have a discussion about whether the bureau is still needed.
