First Democrat 2024 Poll of New Hampshire Shocks, Sets a Time-Bomb for the Left – Opinion

Donald Trump is the focal point of most of the discussions about 2024’s presidential campaign. His timing announcement was a topic of great debate in mainstream media. Some reports suggest that he might make it before the midterm elections. Then there’s the fact that Gov. Ron DeSantis is clearly gearing up for his own run, raising gobs of cash along the way, which leaves the question of how Trump will handle things if he doesn’t waltz to the GOP nomination.

With that said, I’d suggest that Democrats are in an even more precarious position. In 2024, President Joe Biden would be 82. He’s also been suffering from noticeable physical and mental decline going back to before he entered the White House. The idea that he’s going to run for re-election just seems improbable.

This leaves Democrats in a strange position. Right? Vice President Kamala Harris, however, is seen as the successor apparent. She’s beloved by the leftwing base and the press (while being despised by most Americans). Her inspection of intersectional boxes is a must for those who are woke.

New Hampshire is an important early primary for 2024. However, it may have different ideas. Harris appears to be at the bottom of what I consider the first state-wide poll.

Harris, the current vice president, has only six percent support. Transportation Sec. Transport Sec. Pete Buttigieg leads with 17 percent. The president is not even in first place. These are alarming results, which show just how terrible the Biden administration has become.

These results aren’t just bad for Harris and Biden, though. These results are bad news for the Democrat Party, as they have set a ticking time bomb that will take it to 2024. Consider the problems that could arise from Buttigieg being the leader at this stage and later. For one, he’s the whitest guy in existence in a party that is obsessed with racial essentialism. His campaign collapsed because he did not draw any statistical Hispanic or statistical black support in his 2020 race. He is loved by white college-educated females, who will make him competitive in 2024.

That’s where things get even more complicated. It’s easy to imagine the chaos and internal party fighting that would ensue if Harris, the current vice president, is replaced by a white man who, despite being terrible in his cabinet post, has never won anything beyond a small-town election. Harris’s treatment in this situation is not going to be tolerated by the party’s woke wings. This is especially true after Biden repeatedly used Harris to shield herself from failures. You think Harris has been mistreated by the Post and Times? Wait until Buttigieg attacks Harris in a debate.

Democrats have backed themselves into a corner. Normally, you’d have an incumbent president who could avoid a primary fight. They don’t have that in Biden, though. Meanwhile, Buttigieg is far too ambitious to wait his turn, and Harris really believes she’s presidential material, having earned a coronation. The clash and infighting is going to be epic, and it’s going to create huge problems for the left. Make sure to eat some popcorn.
