Even Fox News Uses Tilted Terms Like ‘Fetus’ and ‘Abortion Service Providers’

Fox News may use all of the liberal terminology in their abortion stories from time to time. FoxNews.com published an article titled “Texas Supreme Court Blocks Decision that Abortions Can Resume” on Saturday.

Fox’s Lawrence Richard wrote a story with a note at end saying “The Associated Press contributed this report to Fox,” although the article sounded more like it came from the liberal AP Stylebook. It started:

The Texas Supreme Court on Friday blocked a lower court order that permitted some abortions.

The state’s latest developments in the last few weeks have been marked by this decision.

On Friday, June 24, a majority of the U.S. Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, ending constitutionally-protected abortion rights across the country.

Richard explained that the Texas law was commonly called a “heartbeat statute” because it prohibits abortions “once a heartbeat in Texas is detected”. Fetus.” Unborn babies were therefore dehumanized and abortionists became “service providers”.

Service providers for abortion Texas officials were forced to cancel any planned abortions in Texas and inform those who were scheduled for the procedure that they couldn’t provide it.

Some people started to take advantage of the new law almost as soon as it was in effect. Providers of abortionTo keep this practice legal ….

They were able to reassure doctors with an earlier order from a Houston judge. Providers of abortion servicesThey would be permitted to continue abortions.

These liberal words were also used in captions that appeared in the story. They mostly featured pro-abortion protesters.

Fox News could try to be more inclusive if it is trying to attract a prolife audience beyond its Manhattan office. There shouldn’t be any inflammatory language used to refer to womb-inhabitants as “babies.”
