SCOTUS Finally Pushes Back on ‘Protests’ at Justices’ Homes – Opinion

For months now, “protesters” have been marching and generally acting like insane people in front of the homes of the conservative Supreme Court Justices. Following the first leak of information that is now The Dobbs Roe v. Wade was overturned. It culminated with an attempt to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Unfortunately, the power elite have not been willing to put an end to this garbage, even though the Supreme Court has generally remained silent. After the court made a statement requesting local governments to enforce their protest laws in front judges’ houses, this changed Saturday.

It’s nuts that things have been allowed to get this far out of hand. Although I disagree with you, it is possible to argue that protests should not have been permitted until official decisions are made. The term ended on Thursday, and that was it. The Supreme Court cannot now reverse the damage done by public pressure. There’s no way to do that. These protests have no purpose and are threatening threats to court members.

What’s worse is that Maryland still currently has a “Republican” governor in Larry Hogan. He has cowardly remained silent, refusing enforce existing laws. While you’d prefer for the local authorities to do their jobs, Hogan has a state police force to call on. It is unacceptable to let this lawlessness continue.

The rhetoric against the Supreme Court is only getting more divisive, and it’s coming from the very top of the Democrat party. Just days ago, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez proclaimed that there was a “judicial coup” occurring, which is a green light for all sorts of retaliatory action. Someone is going to get hurt if things don’t change, and that change is going to have to happen among law enforcement. Yes, citizens have the right of protest on public property. They don’t have a right to enter private neighborhoods and act like lunatics.
