Don’t be surprised if you have doubts about NBC’s Chuck Todd’s status as a Democrat Party propagandist. This blog will dispel all of your fears. Sunday’s broadcast will be at 9:30 AM. Meet the PressChuck Todd, the host of Chuck Todd’s show had back-to-back Democrat guest who he gushed about and then asked a bunch of stupid questions.
James Clyburn, the House Majority Whip was Todd’s guest. This segment was the first to be embarrassing. Todd spoke out about the Biden government’s inability to pass an election rigging bill. It is hilariously named the “Freedom to Vote Act.” After a brief pause, the conversation moved to the Omicron variant’s ongoing rise. Todd was prompted to question Clyburn. What advice would you give the President? What advice would you give the President in order to increase Democrats’ chances of winning 2022? Todd is a typical Democrat operative dressed as a journalist and clearly concerned about the upcoming 2022 midterm elections.
Clyburn replied with the standard answer, “Biden should keep on message.” Todd was satisfied with the answer and thanked Clyburn. Then he moved on and thanked James Carville, a Clinton loyalist who is a hack for the Democratic Party. Carville went on to gush:
James Carville (Democratic strategist) is here to join me. His views on what Democrats should do to keep in power through 2022 have been quite outspoken.
That’s right Chuck Todd is the anchor Meet the PressJames Carville will be discussing with her what the Democrats should do to keep their power. Oh, how far the show has fallen from the days of Martha Rountree’s hosting of Meet the PressIn the 1950s.
Carville’s first question was answered by Todd. You have a public in bad mood.Todd said that he was referring to Biden’s 33% job approval rating. You just know that they exist. Right? They’re not in the best mood. Is it possible to convince a nation that you can offer the best stuff?
Todd’s question posits that Biden and Democrats aren’t doing well simply because people are in bad moods and that they aren’t selling their agenda. It’s not because they have a controversial agenda.
Todd’s next question was a real doozy too:
You’ve got a situation right now, the Biden coalition, nobody’s happy. Progressives aren’t happy right now with how Build-Back Better’s gone. Voting rights have been a problem for African American activists. And if you look at the polling the–honestly the thing that’s cratering the most are independents, you know the folks that just wanted the temperature turned down. The President is you. You are the President.
This question is typical of leftist media. Biden’s unpopularity is due to his unhappy base.
Todd was asked by Carville what he thought of Carville at the end. He replied, “Soldier On.” Keep it up Joe! You’re doing great.

CHUCK TODD (Chicken Todd): When it comes to the politics, you are pragmatic. How would you advise the President in this situation? What advice would you give the President in order to increase Democrats’ chances of winning 2022?
REP.JAMES CLYBURN – I believe he is on the message. Keep your message. Don’t let people get him off message. As you know, my father was fundamentalist minister. My father used to tell me that the darkest hour is just before dawn. Things may appear dark. Do not give up. When we came out of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, people told us we couldn’t get voting. The following year we were granted voting rights in 1965. Although it may seem grim now, we will not stop pressing. This is why I believe that people of goodwill will continue to support us and not give up on it.
TODD: Jim Clyburn (Democrat from South Carolina) always values your opinion on the program. Thank you, sir.
CLYBURN, Thank you for your time.
TODD: Okay, here’s a familiar face. It is James Carville, Democrat strategist. His views on what Democrats should do to keep in power in 2022 have been quite outspoken. James, we are pleased to welcome you back to Meet the Press.
JAMES Carville: We are grateful to Chuck
TODD: First, let me tell you what I see right now. The one-year mark is just around the corner. This presidency is in a very difficult moment. You said 2021 was the best story ever told. However, I am curious. It’s not that the public is in bad mood. It’s obvious that they know this. Right? They’re not in the best mood. What can you do to sell him the goods that you think he could sell to a country who isn’t very open right now?
CARVILLE – You boast and promote. You talk about the fact we pretended to care about children’s poverty while no Congressman that I saw in the newspaper ever mentioned it. It’s the lowest child poverty rate we’ve had in history. Hourly workers are our priority. Hourly workers today have more leverage at any time they’ve ever had in my 77 years of existence on this planet. Alright? We want jobs. 6.4 million jobs. There were more jobs created than any President in his first term. Chuck, you are a runner on the basis of what you’ve got. Don’t try to get what you didn’t. The stuff that you did get is quite good. Voting rights are not passed by them. If they fail to pass Build Back better, they can run for it in 2022. Their 2020 election returns are all they will be focusing on, as well as getting Adam Schiff or Jamie Raskin revenge. So just focus on what you’ve got, what you’ve done, and what you want to do to make people’s lives better. That’s it. You’ve got to go out and you’ve gotta gloat and you gotta promote. If inflation stays at 7% in November, then we will lose. But I don’t think, a lot of people don’t think that’s going to be the case.
TODD: You’ve got a situation right now, the Biden coalition, nobody’s happy. Progressives aren’t happy right now with how Build-Back Better’s gone. Voting rights have been a problem for African American activists. And if you look at the polling the–honestly the thing that’s cratering the most are independents, you know the folks that just wanted the temperature turned down. The President is you. You are the President.
CARVILLE It’s a phrase that I love. This expression is called soldier on. Alright? But I think that we don’t have enough — if you aren’t concerned about child poverty or hourly workers and you aren’t a member of the Democratic base, then you really don’t qualify as a Democrat. Alright? But I believe that a large portion of the Democratic base have not been informed about the accomplishments of President Biden, this Congress. These are the things I care most about as a Democrat. I don’t care about any word in the dictionary. I care that my children go to sleep with a full belly and a warm home. I don’t care that an hourly worker works at $7.25/hour. And I can see the $700 sign all around me in Louisiana, Mississippi and South Mississippi. These are great accomplishments. It’s something that you can build on. It’s not okay to speak about things that you didn’t receive. Chuck: That is what the Democrats are doing. Stop being a fool party. Go out on the streets and confront people with what you have done and give them the truth. The Republican Party stands for nothing other than let’s relitigate the 2020 election, or let’s get back at Jamie Raskin. That’s it. That’s the entire platform.
TODD: What can Joe Biden learn from Bill Clinton’s experience after ’94, and how did that affect his decision to run for president?
CARVILLE: Soldier on. It’s true that you may have had a difficult week but a great year. Your year will be what people judge, not your week. This is hard work. You’ll have your ups and your downs. You got–you get bruised. It’s normal to get beat up. But every President has been through it. I think President Biden had the competitor’s record, on what’s been told a huge differential. And I think that they’re trying to sort of doing. Ever since Eisenhower established the interstate highway system, infrastructure has been a topic of conversation. There are trillions of dollars worth infrastructure being built. Today’s children will have access to better roads and broadband. They also can cross more bridges. This is something Americans should be proud of. This should be something we talk about. You should brag about your achievements. It is important to share it with others. We will have better results if you do this. I promise you.
TODD: James Carville. Always a pleasure sir.
