Did You Vote For This? – Opinion

Dear Biden Voters:

This was your vote?

Gas prices are exploding but the rise in fuel prices didn’t start last week. They’ve been going up since the moment Joe Biden took office. While the legacy media likes to think Russia is our greatest problem with price spikes and inflation, data clearly shows us that Biden is actually the largest obstacle. All the way back in January of 2021, AAA recorded the biggest jump in the national average price since 2009 (surely it’s purely coincidental that 2009 was the beginning of the previous Democrat administration).

WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 19, 2021) – Since the beginning of the year, the national gas price average has increased 13 cents. Today’s average is $2.38. It is just a nickel higher than what was last week. The cost is 17 cents less year-over-year.

In 2009, the nation experienced a significant January price rise. The national average gas price rose 23 cents within the first three weeks in 2009. In those days, U.S. gasoline supply and demand were both lower than today and crude oil prices had been rising.

The average is currently at $4.09 as I type this. There’s no sign of an end to it. The Russia/Ukraine conflict has certainly strained our economy, but it is only following the direction that has been trending since Biden’s inauguration.

Futures markets are regulated by the oil market. They respond to consumer concerns. The price of oil will rise if consumers are worried about their future. Donald Trump, we were told was a danger to global stability. We had to remove him in order to ensure a better future. Now here we are, on the brink of a global conflict, if not all-out war…everyone seems to have their own description of what’s happening with Russia right now. You can choose your favorite. Biden is leading us into the dystopian, dismal landscape many people imagined when Trump was president.

I know you saw a lot of upsetting things when you looked at Donald Trump, but you know what you didn’t see?

A war in Russia, $5+ gasoline, empty store shelves and empty car lots. Fighting school boards. Do you live a different life now than it did a year earlier? Do you feel more confident in your future or are things more volatile? Are you happier with your retirement savings?

Trump is irrelevant. I know it’s hard because he’s living in your head rent free even though he’s been deplatformed nearly everywhere by this time. It’s easier to blame the guy you don’t like in perpetuity than to criticize the guy you do like in the present. We all get that, we’ve all been there. So don’t think about it like Trump versus Biden. Think about it like “how it started versus how it’s going.”

Look around you. Do you see any of these things?
