In this episode of “Try to Control Your Shock and Amazement”…
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has confirmed what the informed among us have known since day one: The Biden administration is in “robust” discussions with Silicon Valley and the tech sector about curbing the free speech of everyday Americans it deems to be “misinformation.”
DHS Alejandro Mayorkas: Silicon Valley ‘Committed’ to Speech Curbs
The champion of illegals & open borders wants to curb speech that is deemed “misinformation.” I guess the Dept. Propaganda will make the final decision on what to silence.#Totalitarianismhttps://t.co/fBZLhBWgO3

While there’s a tendency to no longer be surprised by Everything the rabid left does or tries to get away with anymore, let’s stop and think about what you just read, for a minute. This is quite chilling.
This is not an exaggeration to suggest that the Soviet Union was influenced by it. Of the Communists in Beijing, Cuba, and the rest of the world’s dictators and repressive regimes.
We also give up on the left at our own peril. They will do anything to get a mile, sometimes even if it means eating one piece of the elephant.
So…
“Misinformation” as defined by what, Mr. Mayorkas? By whom?Find out more Why?
The ever-icy Mayorkas, who can’t import enough illegal aliens fast enough, told Bloomberg in an interview [see video below] on Tuesday his main concern is “how to do it” versus whether the federal government has the fundamental right to suppress facts and opinions with which it disagrees. Again, profound — but hardly a surprise.
With individuals, I was able to have very strong discussions [in Silicon Valley and the tech sector]. You know, the “How to accomplish it?” is something that is not easily navigated.
The First Amendment is an extremely important issue. It’s a founding principle of our country. I think they’re very dedicated to doing so.
[Nonsense. They don’t give a damn about the First Amendment.]
And I think the “How to” and “How we can work together” is something we’re all working through.
This guy’s arrogance and lack of emotion is nearly as disturbing as his subject matter.

Even worse. Mayorkas considers curbing free speech “very much within our [the federal government’s] domain.” As transcribed by Breitbart:
Misinformation — pointedly, disinformation — has very serious and significant ramifications for [the Department of]National security [and]Our election system is fair and honest.
[As opposed to open borders, shipping untold numbers of illegal aliens across the country, many of them COVID-positive, in the dead of night against the wishes state and local government, Mr. Mayorkas?]
This is evident in the security of our electoral system. As such, [we are] […]We are very involved in dealing with misinformation, disinformation, as well the potential threats to the homeland.
Look at what Mayrokas did. He is able to summon the courage to put the Election systemWhy not?
When it’s the Democrat PartyIncessantly, they push lax laws on election security and vote insecurity. This includes simple-to-cheat mail in ballots with no IDs or picture identifications, absurdly early voting and many other measures designed and supported specifically to allow. Democrat votersTo cheat. It is possible to cheat. thenMayorkas means boogeyman misinformation, disinformation as a reason for suppressing freedom of speech.
Brad Stone, Bloomberg Senior Executive Editor at Bloomberg, was a constant advocate for Mayorkas’ continued support for censorship.
Do you ever get upset by just the ubiquity of falsehoods … in our in our public dialogue, and and the ease with which they are transported across social media and the internet?
Mayorkas won, it’s no surprise. This is the oneOut of the park
Yes. My concern is that false narratives pose a security threat. False narratives should be stopped. Our leaders must take action to stop the propagation of false narratives. They are important because leaders’ words matter.
[Like Biden’s words “matter,” Mr. Mayorkas? His propaganda and false narrative about the Omicron variant, for example? Should that speech be curbed?]
They are able to have an enormous influence in public discourse. […] And the country’s divide is something that has security implications, and it’s also very saddening.
Oh, please. I need one. The foundation principles of the Democrat PartyTo pit one half of America against another half is almost impossible. The Biden administration is a prime example.
In the vein and spirit of The Great One, Mark Levin, that’s it. I can’t stand this guy. I’m done.
Here’s the entire interview.
