We reported previously that the usual suspects were outraged by a report about Florida Governor. Ron DeSantis. DeSantis told a child to take his mask off, and that was the pitch from the left. Naturally, that wasn’t true. DeSantis told kids that they didn’t have to wear masks behind him if they didn’t want to, championing an individual’s choice as he always has.
“You do not have to wear those masks,” DeSantis said to them. “I mean, please take them off. Honestly, it’s not doing anything and we’ve gotta stop with this COVID theater. So if you want to wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous.”
NEW: @GovRonDeSantis annoyed with USF students—
These masks do not need to be worn. You can take them off. It’s really not helping. It’s time to end this Covid theater. It’s fine to wear, but it is absurd.”https://t.co/7j1Pb2hV53 @WFLA pic.twitter.com/ZIOyTHLOh3

The media, as usual, pursued him.
It is common for people to deliberately lie about what happened. For instance, WFLA reported that DeSantis “scolded” the students (he didn’t). CNN’s Chris Cillizza claimed DeSantis “yelled” at the students (he didn’t). The Hill alleged DeSantis “chided” the students (he didn’t).
DeSantis’ response was, however, perfect as we noticed.

DeSantis, who appeared on Fox News with Tucker Carlson, is able to give a perfect response. Not only did he further debunk the claims made about the invented masking controversy and that he didn’t bully anyone, but he also explained who the real bullies have been over the past two years.

“None of the kids were wearing masks,” DeSantis said. “And it seemed to me that someone had told the kids they had to do it. So, I just wanted to make it very clear: they do not need to be doing it.” It should be noted that the “kids” here were college students, too.
DeSantis continued and only decimated Democrats in the matter.
“Bullying is locking kids out of school, which they did.
Bullying forces children to wear masks 8 hours per day for 2 years. They are now stopping because of the changing polling.
The vaccine mandates make it easier to bully people and force them out of their jobs. All of these policies were fought in Florida. We lifted people up, and we liberated them from local school boards and governments that imposed them.”
Bravo! After what the liberal media and Democrats have done over the last two years, how dare they talk about bullying children? What has happened to children as a result? And all for naught — which makes it even worse. Standing up for their rights to be free from bullying isn’t bullying.
