Democrats Kneecapped Themselves With Their Defense of China, According to Latest Poll – Opinion

The “party of science” sure was adamant that no one blames the spread of COVID-19 on China. China has been regarded as the leader in fighting this virus because of the large scale effort made by mainstream leftists.

CNN even suggested at one time that China was the hero of this story and then-President Donald Trump was responsible for all the problems. This video shows how CNN was the worst culprit offenders, as our media taught China how to alter narratives in their own country.

Fast forward to today, and the media is still largely defensive of China, but the cat’s out of the bag. The evidence that links the virus to being laboratory-created has too many. It was also shown that our Fauci-run NSAID contributed funding its creation.

This doesn’t sit well with the American people who not only believe that China is fully responsible for it all but that they need to pay America back for its mistake.

Fox News reports that a poll shows an overwhelming majority disagree with Democrats regarding China.

A new poll shows that Americans overwhelmingly believed that the coronavirus pandemic stemmed from a lab leak in Wuhan, China, and that the Chinese government subsequently lied about it.

The Ronald Reagan Institute’s 2021 National Defense Survey posed a number of questions related to China and its position in relation to the U.S., including one regarding the origins of COVID-19.

“When asked about the theory that the coronavirus was developed by scientists working at a lab in Wuhan and accidentally leaked, and that the Chinese government then lied about it, nearly three quarters (72%) of Americans believe it is likely, with 42% saying it is very likely,” a report by the Reagan Institute said, discussing the poll results.

This belief can be shared between political parties in a rare display of unity.

The survey revealed that the majority of respondents believed the pandemic originated in China. Majorities of both political parties as well as independents agreed with this conclusion. Respondents polled by Republicans believed 86% that COVID-19 had leaked from Wuhan’s lab. 61% agreed with Democrats, and 67% were independents.

When the Democrats believed that media control could dictate the narrative, and that people would be able to believe China is innocent of any charges whatsoever, they were wrong. The question now is how do they actually backpedal, if at all?

It’s clear that there’s some relationship between the left and China. Whether it’s business, ideological, or both, the left is incredibly friendly to our foreign enemy, and walking back in their defense of China is going to be a tough sell to at least the Independents and the Republicans.

If Republicans wanted to really seize the opportunity, they might be able to stick with their belief that Americans are owed reparations from communist nations. Our elected leaders can discuss the form of this, but if Americans think China should pay up, and Democrats continue to defend them, it is a clear divide between Republicans and Democrats.

This is because the question needs to be asked: Which side are they on?
