Democrat Governor Vetoes Bill That Gives Parents a Closer Look at What Their Kids Are Learning – Opinion

Why?

Why? Anybody be opposed to complete transparency of what America’s kids are being taught in school? Particularly, parents? Unless that “anyone” doesn’t wantIt is important for parents to understand what their children are exposed too. It could be that teachers unions are opposed to cameras being installed in the classroom.

Pennsylvania Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf, Pennsylvania Democrat Governor.

Or would that be “indoctrinated,” governor?

As reported by Just the News, Wolf argued that the requirements of the bill that would have given parents online access to class material is “overly burdensome” and claimed ulterior motives behind the “dangerous and harmful imposition.”

Oh, please. This is a bunch of crap.

“Overly burdensome”? Which? What is the danger and harm in transparency? Gov. Liar? Aside from that, teachers would have to provide the material online, and not school administrators.

Here are a few snippets from Wolf’s disingenuous (bald-faced lying) letter vetoing the bill:

The legislation is passed under the pretense of transparency and politicizes public school teaching. The State Board of Education has already established that parents and guardians must be provided with the course materials and curriculum upon request by public schools. School boards also adopt textbooks in public meetings.

It is unnecessary and burdensome to require all schools in the country to post on their websites the course descriptions, syllabuses, written summaries, and academic standards applicable for each course.

Bring your pants legs up.

The legislation is an attempt to limit truthful instruction and censor content that reflects different cultures, identities and experiences. My administration believes in creating safe learning environments for students. We will not participate in such a dangerous and damaging imposition.

No, governor. This is not about censoring “content reflecting various cultures, identities, and experiences,” it is about protecting white kids from being programmed to believe they are inherently racist by virtue of the color of their skin, and that they must spend their lives atoning for their whiteness, in part by being proactively anti-racist — in some warped way decided by the radical left.

The Republican-controlled Pennsylvania General Assembly passed House Bill 1332 last week, which reads, in part:

A school entity must post an Internet link for each textbook it uses, along with a syllabus for all instructional courses, on the publicly accessible website. This will be effective for the 2022-23 school years and any subsequent school years.

Too burdensome Dangerous? Harmful?

Andrew Lewis, Republican State Representative of Georgia said that he created the legislation to address concerns about what children were learning. It’s not hard to see why. Two words: Loudoun County.

Lewis responded to Wolf’s transparent veto in a Facebook video.

I have heard from parents who did not know what their children would be learning in school until the homework was brought home, and they were surprised and offended by that material,” he said. “I’ve heard from parents who have had to file right-to-know requests when they requested to find out what their kids were learning in school or what their kids were going to be taught in school.

Pennsylvania regulations already require that school districts provide curricula for parents. The problem is, it doesn’t tell us how they must make that information available. Some schools tell parents that they must file right-to know requests.

Schools may tell parents to set a time and date, then drive down to their school district so they can get this information in order to fit into a busy and hectic schedule.

“It’s unbelievable and it’s antiquated. It’s something that has to change,” Wolf said. He also shot down Wolf’s transparent excuses about cultures and identities.

This bill did not address cultures, identities and personal experiences. In his veto message, the governor made it a cultural issue. It makes no sense.

Of course, that’s what Wolf did. It’s what the left always does. You can play the race card. Play the race card to try and freeze your opponent. racist label. Left forgets some Contact us have read Alinksy’s book, too.

While the left is as dangerous to democracy and insane as it has been, I find it funny that they don’t understand how many Americans see past their rhetoric.

From support for the Biden Illegal Alien Invasion to opposition to voter ID laws to claiming to be the “party of women’s rights,” yet avid support of biological males destroying females in women’s sports, Democrats support or oppose zeroWithout first knowing which positions will be most helpful to them in the polling booth,

That.

This could not be truer.
