Daily Beast: Abortion Limitations Impair Sex Lives Of Next Generation

The overturn of Roe v. Wade is going to impair the next generation’s sex-life according to Sunday’s Daily Beast piece.

Rebecca White, a “culturally white, cis, straight-identifying woman” penned the piece titled “I Had a Carefree Sex Life. The Next Generation Will Have Fear” to talk about how great her sex life is/was without having to worry about limited access to abortion. Ms. White voiced concern about younger women who might be subject to unprotected sexual activity.

Abortion access has supposedly become “a war” and White advocated for women to “manifest on the streets, on the page, and in conversation.” Yes, take to the streets to ensure that you have the “right” to kill your babies after you choose to engage in unprotected sex. These lunatics will sell you this narrative.

White’s key line was:  “If every man went into sex thinking, ‘Do I want to have children with this woman?’—the idea would be seen as patently absurd.”

That’s the thing though. It is important to recognize the possibility that you might get pregnant every time you have sexual contact. If you don’t want to take that chance, don’t! It’s very simple math.

Sex isn’t the only conversation you should have right now. It must be said. We must win on every front the fight for equal rights as women in this nation.

Now, the battle is for abortion to become more accessible to all so that they can enjoy more sex without worrying about having to have a baby. Okay.

White advised that people who have life-affirming laws may find this dangerous.

What does it mean that for those in more liberally-minded states (such as New York, the one in which I’ve resided for almost all my life), conversation about sex is more of a casual, stress-free topic than for those in states that are swiftly banning abortion?

After boasting about her sex experiences with 17 men in her lifetime, the author explained that it didn’t really matter.

Keep track of everything. Because if it doesn’t matter to me, it shouldn’t matter at all. That’s the freedom and privilege of having had access to abortion and contraception for my entire adult life.

This article argues that everyone should have the freedom to have sex whenever and with whomever they like. They can also choose how they deal with consequences or not. However, it is important to remember that the consequences of sex should not result in a baby being born unplanned or unwanted.

So Ms. White, the only thing the next generation should fear is hearing the lies that the you’re feeding them about how a child’s life is meaningless and about how sex is something casual and “carefree.”
