Female suspect injured when she shot a gun at Dallas Love Field Airport ceiling. Law enforcement then killed her.
According to police, the woman was located near Southwest’s ticket counter and fired multiple shots shortly before 11 AM Monday. After being shot in the “lower extremities” by police, the suspect was taken to Parkland Hospital where her condition is unknown, Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia said.

Garcia stated that Garcia, 37 years old, changed into a hoodie after she was dropped at the airport at 10.59 AM. Fox 4 Dallas reports that a witness claimed the suspect shouted at her before firing in the air.

Chief Garcia: The 37-year-old woman, who was dropping her off at 10.59 am, went into the bathroom to put on “some type of a jacket” and then started firing. “She produces a handgun and begins firing…She was aiming at the ceiling.”

Her motive for the accident is not known. The flight was temporarily stopped.
