A brief segment was shown at Sunday’s end. Trustworthy SourcesCNN’s Brian Stelter interviewed David Zurawik, CNN media analyst and host. They discussed the new book by two New York Times journalists that details the drama behind the Biden White House.
Stelter was unimpressed by one excerpt of the book. It was an observation President Biden made in regard to Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch and NewsCorp CEO Fox News. He called it the network. A “danger to democracy”Murdoch “The most dangerous man on the planet.”
“They offer some very interesting insights.”[s] about President Biden and Fox News”Stelter then spoke out about the future book’s authors. After that, he read an excerpt from the book and was thrilled.
They say as Fox spewed forth a torrent of anti-Biden programming, stoking skepticism about vaccines and disseminating wild conspiracy theories about January 6, the Democratic President assessed Fox as one of the most destructive sources in the United States and told an associate midway through 2021 that it’s corporate overlord the Australian-born NewsCorp chairman Rupert Murdoch was even more toxic than that. Biden called Murdoch “the most dangerous man on the planet.”
Stelter called back David Zurawik (always erratic) to find out if Biden really said it about Fox News or Murdoch. Zurawik was unsure if the quoted quote was correct, but he agreed to the President’s remarks. “I’m with him if he did say it, and I think I know what he means”
Zurawik explained why he thought Fox News & Murdoch were dangerous to democracy and the world at large: “Rupert Murdoch is allowing[ed]He allows this type of misinformation and disinformation to flood American lives to millions, and does nothing to stop it.
Stelter didn’t push back. Stelter merely smiled and stated, “well, you’re not the only one who feels that way clearly.” Stelter and CNN’s colleagues lost their heads when Trump called CNN fake news on a daily basis. Yet, Stelter appears to not have any problem with Zurawik and Biden calling Fox News and their CEO dangerous.

CNN’s Reliable Sources

Eastern at 11:56 p.m.BRIAN STELTER: Here’s a peek at “This Will not Pass,” the book that is coming out in May. The book will be available in May. This is from Jonathan Martin, a CNN political analyst and Alex Burns, a New York Times reporter. The two men have some fascinating insight into President Biden as well as Fox News.
The White House will not confirm or deny that this excerpt is true. It will be out within a month. This book is packed with new information. We must bring back David Zurawik & Natasha Alford. Zurawik, are you sure that Biden said it?
DAVID ZURAWIK: You know, I don’t know if Biden actually said it, but I’m with him if he did say it, and I think I know what he means. This stuff is quite well-known to Biden. Rupert Murdoch allowed this type of misinformation and disinformation to flood American lives to millions of Americans, but he did nothing to stop it.
STELTER: Well, you’re not the only one who feels that way clearly.
