CNN: ‘Terrified’ Democrats Facing ‘Existential Crisis’

CNN has admitted that Democrats are in grave trouble. 

Monday, Neue DayCNN’s Isaac Dovere reports that Nancy Pelosi may run for the Speaker position in 2022, contrary to her pledge of 2018 to not serve more than four years. The odds of the Dems being in the majority and thus in a position for electing the Speaker after 2022 are not good.

Dovere was able to sum up the current “existential crisis”, which the Dems face.He said that while some caucus members may be looking for a new leadership generation, Democrats “actually” Fearful She is a visionary of the future without her. As bad as they might have been under Pelosi’s leadership, it could get worse if she leaves.

The term “Existential” is something that talk heads frequently use. The literal meaning of this word implies that the continuation of the Democrat Party could be in danger. 

This segment concluded with discussion about who may succeed Pelosi. Hakeem Jeffries was depicted in the lead role.

This is a useful suggestion for Democrats. The Speaker and, presumably, the minority leader do not have to be members of the House. Saule Omarova is your next leader.Biden recently resigned her nomination for Controller of Currency. And Omarova boasts bona fide Soviet roots. If you are in an existential crisis and have no other options, it is okay to not do so. Rebrand yourself as “The New Marxists”? This is just a thought.

KAITLIN CELLINS: Nancy Pelosi is the Democratic Caucus Chairwoman for more than 20 years. But new CNN reporting shows that she may not be ready to hand over her Speaker’s gavel just yet. Sources say that Speaker Pelosi plans to file and run for re-election, and isn’t ruling out the possibility of trying to stay in leadership after 2022 despite an earlier vow that she made.

One group of Democrats stated that they want different leadership to symbolize the current generational shift we’ve seen in the Democratic party. This story was told to you by over twenty-six House Democrats. What did the House Democrats say?

ISAAC DOVERE : It is. this existential crisis that they’re going through.They want new leadership. The House’s performance over the past few months has shown them a lot of issues that needed to be fixed. They also feel that their leaders need to respond to these changes. 

But on the other hand, they’re looking at Pelosi and saying she has such a level of relationships, and control, and experience that they’re really actually terrified Imagine the future without her. COLLINS: Yeah. You could also say, I believe, that her hold is less strong than it was in the past. This was clearly evident with the bill for infrastructure and the way that votes fell. Is the democratic caucus ready for a post-Pelosi world?

DOVERE – Much of the speculation revolves around Hakeem Jefries, the New York Congressman. His leadership skills are impressive. There’s also some talk around Katherine Clark, who is the assistant Speaker, from Massachusetts. And then Pramila Jayapal, the head of the congressional Progressive Caucus, I reported in the story, has been making calls, making people think that she’s interested in pursuing leadership herself.
