CNN Cognitive dissonance on steroids – with a boost shot of hypocrisy
Imagine this. It’s 7 a.m. Day of the New brought on CNN medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner who called the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration a potential “superspreader”Event that is “completely unnecessary” “Unwise” Reiner called Omicron “the most contagious pathogen that any of us have ever seen,” estimating the true number of daily infections at 1,000,000.
John Avlon was the co-host and said that the definition of Omicron being “the most contagious disease agent” was incorrect.sobering.” And he and co-host Kaitlan Collins each reacted with “WowAccording to the doctor’s estimation of 1 million infections per day.
However, the next hour will be Day of the New The promo included a lengthy, exhilarating advertisement for. . . CNN’s Times Square New Years Eve Special! CNN entertainment correspondent Chloe Melas could not contain her excitement as she praised the event with all of its celebrities guests hosted by Anderson Cooper & Andy Cohen. Avlon Collins was also there in a raucous enthusiasm.
Melas exclaimed, “It’s going to be a great night!” jaw-dropping, surprise after surprise. Andy and Anderson will, naturally, like to drink tea. This is going to be a lot of fun!”
Yes, you can come to all of the superspreader events, in person and via TV. Thousands of people will also be contributing to the mass-adjusted infection rate of one million per day. Watch all the fun starting live at 8 PM on CNN!
Compare and contrast the screencaps of the CNN doc’s grim visage at the prospect of the Times Square superspreader event, with the giddy face of the CNN entertainment reporter touting the network Times Square special.
CNN extolled Times Square New Year’s Day, while a CNN doctor said that the event could be a “superspreader”. This was despite being told by a CNN doctor. The CNN event was sponsored partly by Farmers Insurance, VRBO and Consumer Cellular.

Polo was just talking about the topic, Dr. Reiner. tonight’s [Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration]What do you think it will look like? Which is your opinion?
JONATHAN REINEREvent that could be considered a superspreader, but completely unneeded. It’s almost like we have hit the iceberg. There are many people that just want to see the band continue playing.
It’s all just a dream. When we are facing a lot of challenges, having a massive party is a good idea. This is the most deadly pathogen we have ever witnessed. It seems It is foolish.
JOHN AVLON – The most deadly pathogen we have ever seen. It is a sobering statement.
REINER: Yeah. The USA had 600,000. To continue my Titanic analogy, that’s only the tip of an iceberg. As so many are currently being tested at home and not being reported, it is a problem. So, I believe It is estimated that one million people contract the virus every day.
COLLINS: Wow! Wow! This is the place you believe the number is.
REINER : It’s almost certain.
AVLON: Wow.
