We’ve been keeping you posted on the election results in Virginia this evening, including via our Live Blog.
We have previously reported that Glenn Youngkin, a Republican candidate for the gubernatorial seat is expected to defeat Terry McAuliffe. Youngkin currently has 54% of the vote, with 65% reporting according to Decision Desk HQ.
But Youngkin’s win — while huge — isn’t the only one for the GOP tonight. DDHQ has now projected Republican Winsome Sears the winner over Democrat Hala Ayala for the Lieutenant Governor’s spot.
The race has not yet been called for the Attorney General’s spot, but Republican Jason Miyares has 54 percent of the vote to Democrat Mark Herring’s 45 percent, with 64 percent reporting.

If these hold (and it looks as though they will), that’s a mighty fine sweep for the GOP on the statewide offices today in Virginia.
It’s refreshing.
