A 60-year-old New York man was the victim of a Christmas Eve mugging — and police say his attackers made away with only $1.
The New York Police Department released surveillance footage of the attack this week, CBS New York reported.
The elderly victim was walking with a 29-year-old man when a group approached them and demanded their property, according to police.

When the two men refused to give up their possessions, the gang attacked.
Video shows the victim being punched, stomped and even hit with a trash can.
According to police, the suspects fled the scene after the assault, taking only $1 from the victim.
The 60-year-old man is in critical condition, CBS New York reported.
The 29-year-old victim refused medical treatment, police said.
