CensorTrack With TR: Missed That! Twitter Got Its Medical Degree?

It’s Episode Fifteen of MRC’s newest video series, CensorTrack with TR. This week, Big Tech showed their desire to protect the leftist narrative at all costs — even if that means censoring information that could benefit public health. 

An abstract was published by the American Heart Association Circulation Journal on Nov. 8. The title of the piece was: “Abstract 10712: Mrna COVID Vaccines Dramatically Increase Endothelial Inflammatory Markers and ACS Risk as Measured by the PULS Cardiac Test: a Warning.” The piece warned of potential negative effects of the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA vaccines for COVID-19. 

Twitter deemed links to the abstract “unsafe” and noted that the link might point users to “violent or misleading content that could lead to real-world harm.” Twitter has since removed the warning in most places, but the abstract is still suppressed. 

Engineer and geologist Tony HellerRecent challenges to the praise Big Tech gives the COVID-19 vaccins have been made. Heller used this tweet from a study released by the UK government: “In individuals aged greater than 30, the rate of a positive COVID-19 test is higher in vaccinated individuals compared to unvaccinated.” Heller elaboratedA new tweet about the study. “If government were doing this for public health, they would lock down vaccinated instead of unvaccinated.”

Heller’s tweet was labeled “misleading.” Heller also reported that users couldn’t comment or share his post and that he was locked out of his account for a week. 

Big Tech, especially Twitter, are actively censoring public health information. It is dangerous to try and censor online information.
