Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Has a Massive Protest Brewing Over His Jab Mandate – Opinion

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a unique event happening with our neighbors from the “Great White North” in Canada, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in for a bit of a rough ride.

A truck convoy is heading to the nation’s capital in Ottawa and they are looking to make their voices heard via the idling of diesel engines not delivering goods throughout the country. They are not in love with “Al Jolson” Trudeaus’ mandate that forces truckers crossing the U.S. border to get the jab and are heading to let the P.M. and his government know about it.

Let’s go to a quick recap from Monday of what is going on: The Truckers Protesting Mandates is a Sign That Supply Chain Problems are only going to get worse

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeaus’ government dropped the hammer on Canadian truckers being mandated to be poked last January 15th and Joe Biden ordered the same for truckers here this past Saturday the 22nd.

Canadian truckers don’t seem to be doing this, according to an article.

“We are taking our fight to the doorsteps of our Federal Government and demanding that they cease all mandates against its people,” wrote Go Fund Me organizer Tamara Lich. “Small businesses are being destroyed, homes are being destroyed, and people are being mistreated and denied fundamental necessities to survive.”

Canadian truckers gathered in Ottawa on Tuesday to protest the mandate. This comes amid industry turmoil, including disruptions in the supply chain as well as a shortage drivers.
According to Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA), the federal vaccine mandate may result in 12,000 to 16,000 fewer cross-border commercial drivers.
January 15th was the effective date. Canadian truckers will need to show proof that they have been immunized in order to be able avoid COVID-19 testing at their destination. Also, when returning from the United States they must quarentine. Unvaccinated truckers in the USA will be denied entry.

Truck drivers blocked the US-Manitoba border and slowed traffic with protest at Wednesday’s mandate.

The hashtag #TruckersForFreedom on Twitter highlights Canadian truckers as well as those supporting them during the journey to Ottawa. It is an amazing sight to see. These are two examples.

I’m not gonna mince words — this is just a marvel to watch from my perch in the United States. Canadians are fighting for their rights in a way that is rare in the real world. They reject the absurdity of mandates being imposed by individuals who are not in the best interest for their citizens. However, virtue signals all day that they have the best best interests.

The lifeblood not just of Canada, but of America is the trucker. Truckers have made a declaration that they are safe and able to carry all our goods during spring 2020 and 2021 without any poke mandate.

In any country, politicians are prone to building power slowly. However, we saw in the United States that some elected officials have exceeded their authority over the past 2 years. Trudeau has made the exact same mistake in Canada with the international crossing jab mandat. The gruntworkers have had enough of Ottawa’s finger-wagging.

The truckers in Canada have an unique opportunity to make a difference, unlike other groups who oppose government excesses. Canada and America will face a huge problem if those truckers who cross the Canada-U.S. frontier suddenly stop coming to Ottawa. The shelves of grocery stores and other retail outlets will be less stocked.

Trucks — and the men and women who drive them — are the lifeblood of Canada and of my country. This hardworking group of blue-collar workers is tired of being held back and used to be experimental dummies for Justin Trudeau and other eggheads.

Truckers were my family’s friends growing up. I have come to know them as down-to-earth people who perform a vital job without much fanfare. These people are always there doing the jobs that most of us don’t recognize.

Justin Trudeau and his government in Canada are about to find out just how important these men and women are and I’m here for all of it. This story will come to life on many levels. I’ll be sharing it on my Ann Arbor radio station, WAAM 1600 AM. After following #TruckersForFreedom, Twitter has become a passion of mine and I now enjoy retweeting the comments and commmenting at @irishduke2. This is history in the making and I’m just stoked to see it live.

Let me close with a song I found on Triumph from Canada that sums up the #TruckersForFreedom campaign in Canada. Keep “Fight(ing) the Good Fight” every damn moment you have air in your lungs, you wonderful northerners. Your people are great.
