Senator Mike Garcia, a Republican from California (formerly California 25,th), is currently running a campaign among his constituents in California’s redistricted 27th District. His primary focus was to try and mitigate the effects of high gasoline prices and rising inflation. He has concentrated on the summer food drives within the district for the last few weeks.

Garcia also plans to bring it up against Christy Smith (former California Assemblywoman) They are now attempting to obtain the seat in Congress for the third time after Katie Hill, a scandalous disgrace, resigned. Smith lost the special election in 2020 to fill Hill’s seat to then-candidate Garcia by a 55 percent margin. In the 2020 general elections, it was tighter. Smith lost by 333 votes to Congressman Garcia.
Smith cannot, despite having the whole Democrat Party behind her, seal the deal.
She will she be there? She might not if she continues to put her foot in her mouth.

“And our president has done such a phenomenal job, and this is another thing we cannot cede—we cannot cede to the GOP that we are in a world of hurt right now.”
Garcia is being criticized by pro-Smith constituents for not uploading the complete video. It’s strange, as it doesn’t place Smith in reality-based context. Smith then continued with her speech. this kicker:
“Best job report in the history of the United States! <applause>. Inflation and gas prices have caused wages to rise by five percent. Yes, we still have the challenge of inflation and our gas prices, but this president, this administration, and our House are working on these issues every single day.”
What exactly does our president do to solve this problem? The last word on the matter is that he flew off to ask Saudi Arabia for more oil. This, and selling our strategic resources to other nations.
It seems that his administration is obsessed with depleting our food supplies and forcing military personnel to eat Beyond Meat.
What about the House? The House is also trying ignore Supreme Court decisions. Roe BruenBy sticking their federal noses inside the jurisdiction of the States and creating additional constitutional violations by red flag laws.
California’s new gas tax has pushed up our prices by six dollars per gallon. This price is rising, along with the prices of all other commodities, because inflation has made it worse. No matter what side of the aisle, Democrats will win. Have this. Yet, according to Smith, they can’t admit it. They cannot “cede” ground to the GOP. This president, this administration, this House are doing a “phenomenal job.”
Denial, much? This is her winning strategy.

A member of Congress gives me the opportunity to speak directly with 27th Congressional District residents on a daily basis.
Smith is a different story. She hears only from her progressive echo chamber, which includes clapping sounds.
My biggest concern is that Californians are losing their faith in far-left progressive policies. People are suffering.
These problems transcend politics. Gas is over $5 a gallon nationally – even worse in California at over $6. If you are lucky enough to find grocery stores near your home, food prices have soared.
This will only get worse as California truckers must comply with AB5.
High taxes and burdensome regulations are causing businesses to fail. The inflation effects are affecting young families as well as those who work on a small income. And people all over California feel less safe due to rising crime at home, politicians demeaning our police, and Washington’s weak national security policies abroad.
These failures, hardships affect both Republicans and Democrats. They’re a direct result of a far-left progressive system, adopted by the Joe Biden administration in Washington, D.C., and liberal politicians in our state, that puts ideology over problem solving.
Smith is a good progressive, and she continues to follow the party dogma. pet causesInstead of paying attention to the happenings on the ground, pay more attention to the district’s new districts. District 27 does not include the Simi Valley region, which is dominated by white people. These areas include heavily Hispanic Saugus, Palmdale-Lancaster and Palmdale–Lancaster. Smith seems to want to lose three times.
California Globe provides a wonderful overview on Smith v. Garcia as well as the important battle over the 27th Congressional District. The race is predicted to be close by every poll, however they’ve underestimated Garcia in the past. I say that it will be Garcia’s race to lose, especially if Christy Smith continues with her loyalty to the party line, gaslighting, and denial.
Smith will be defeated yet again in 2020, but probably with a larger margin.
