Border Patrol Agent Reportedly ‘Injured by Gunfire’ While Responding to Texas Elementary School Shooting – Opinion

Customs and Border Patrol clarified the roles they played in responding to the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde Texas on Tuesday that left 15 dead.

“CBP sources tell me a Border Patrol agent was injured by gunfire while responding to the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School,” Fox News reporter Bill Melguin tweeted

The tweet went on:

“Those CBP sources tell me Border Patrol was NOT involved in any pursuit in relation to this incident, despite rumors/claims they were.”

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX), stated that the suspect was Salvador Ramos (18 years old) and was a student in the high school. RedState also reported.

The massacre at Robb Elementary School, Uvalde Texas claimed 14 lives and injured a teacher. Prior to his rampage, the suspect shot his grandmother. Other victims are also injured. At least one of them is in serious condition. Some of them were part the Border Patrol, and they killed the gunman.
