Recent reports revealed that Mexican drug cartels are taking full advantage of President Joe Biden’s border crisis, and it’s getting even more deadly. I previously wrote about how Biden’s immigration policies are empowering the cartels, which have benefitted from increased business with smuggling, and human and drug trafficking.
The situation is now even more serious, as cartels are carrying out mass murders in the United States with impunity. According to Lt. Chris Olivarez of Texas Department of Public Safety, his agency found a victim who had been allegedly murdered in Texas by Mexican cartel operatives. They believed that she was raped and tortured prior to her death. Fox News was informed by him:
“These criminal organizations come across from Mexico to the US side and they murder individuals. We’ve had several incidents that have taken place along the border using professional-type weapons. Very professional and methodical about how they do it and then they go back to Mexico.”
According to the official, cartels usually commit these horrific murders as a way to get their message across to rivals. But previously, they hadn’t committed these atrocities on U.S. soil.
Fox News’ Sara Carter also chimed in on the matter. Sean Hannity heard from her.
“And the crime and the increase and brazenness of the drug cartels along the border is something that they can’t even explain themselves. In October 26, not too long ago, they discovered the body of a woman who was mutilated cartel style on the US side of the border.”.
Carter continued:
“Also, law enforcement officials have been telling me that they’ve noticed cartel style executions on our side of the border, and they’re seeing that increase of people that are gotaways, those are people that are trying to escape law enforcement.”
Additionally, she noted that Texas Governor. Greg Abbott passed criminal trespass laws. Law enforcement has arrested more than 1,800 individuals trying to flee from authorities.
Abbott lashed out at President Biden last Wednesday for turning “a blind eye” to the worsening situation at the southern border while paying more attention to the refugee crisis occurring along the Belarusian-Polish border.
Renae Eze, the governor’s press secretary, told the Daily Mail:
“President Biden’s concern for other nations’ borders, while he turns a blind eye to the United States’ borders that he swore to protect and defend, is appalling. His reckless open border policies have created an ongoing crisis along our southern border, leading to a 61-year record-high number of illegal immigrants surging into our state.”
Customs and Border Protection reports that there have been almost 1.7 million contacts with border crossing agents between October 2020 and 2021.
Eze said that because the White House has not expressed an interest in illegal immigration, Lone Star State was trying to resolve it. She stated:
“Since Governor Abbott launched Operation Lone Star in March, the National Guard and DPS have apprehended over 76,000 migrants and arrested over 8,800 who committed a state or federal crime, including smugglers and human traffickers, to crack down on illegal crossings of migrants coming from over 150 countries around the world.”
It is not surprising that the activist media have not highlighted this story. It is not surprising that so much happens at the border, even though the Fourth Estate wants us to be unaware. Although cartels are not known to have been attacking Americans from U.S. soil in the past, it is concerning that they would be willing to commit brutal murders at our border.
How long is it going to be before this reckless administration starts pursuing American citizens? While insisting on mishandling these situations from the beginning, the president is only offering lip service to solving them. Biden has never even been to the border. Kamala Harris, Vice President of USA, did not do so until she was repeatedly criticised for showing no interest.
It is hard to envision what the President will need to do to address this issue. But it is clear this will be one of the issues that will lead to the Democrats’ upcoming shellacking in the 2022 midterm elections.
