In this episode of “The Hypocrisy of Joe Biden Knows No Bounds”…
Today, we visit the “U.S. Constitution” edition, in which Joe declares the Second Amendment “was never absolute” as he calls for banning “assault rifles” (AR-15s) and now, inexplicably, 9mm handguns, which he ridiculously claims can “blow a lung out” — yet he fiercely defends on-demand abortion, which he obscenely refers to as an “essential health care service,” and says “A woman’s right to choose is fundamental,” and “the law of the land for almost fifty years.”
Biden’s incredibly selective reasoning that “the stability of our law demands that it (Roe V. Wade) not be overturned,” he says, is “based on the Fourteenth Amendment.”
Two amendments to the Constitution. One is “precedent-setting,” the other, not so much. Just me, or is Joe Biden’s height of hypocrisy the stuff of Democrat legend, or what?
A May 3 reply to the Supreme Court draft leaked suggesting that SCOTUS will be over Roe prior to the end of its present term, Biden’s statement reads, in part:
[M]In defense of the Court, y administration made a strong argument before it Roe v. Wade This was our opinion Roe is based on ‘a long line of precedent’ recognizing ‘the Fourteenth Amendment’s concept of personal liberty’… against government interference with intensely personal decisions.
I believe that a woman’s right to choose is fundamental, Roe Since its inception, it has been the law on the ground for over fifty years. It is fundamentally fair and stable and must not be changed.
I’m no constitutional lawyer, but what on God’s green earth does killing unborn children From the moment of conception until death have to do with “personal liberty”? Whom? For whom?
And why should the on-demand killing of unborn children be an “intensely personal” decision granted to anyone? Least of which, a mother-to-be, who decides that all that mother-to-be stuff isn’t for her? Nonetheless, as Joe said, Fourteenth Amendment “rights.”
Now, let’s swItch gears and do Joe’s view of the Second Amendment and how “constitutional” it is, along with “a long line of precedent” and “personal liberty” as it relates to the right of the citizenry to bear arms, shall we?
Biden and “Dr.” Jill traveled to Uvalde, Texas, on Sunday to meet with the grieving families of the 19 children and two teachers who died in the shooting. While there, he pledged to “do something” in an effort to prevent future similar shootings.
On Monday, facing pressure to indeed “do something,” Biden declared that the “Second Amendment was never absolute” and that, after the Texas elementary school shooting, “There may be some bipartisan support to tighten restrictions on the kind of high-powered weapons used by the gunman,” as reported by the Associated Press.
Biden spoke to reporters upon returning from Washington D.C.
I think things have gotten so bad that everybody’s getting more rational, at least that’s my hope. I’ve been pretty motivated all along. I’m going to continue to push and we’ll see how this goes.
And by “push” Biden was referring to pushing against the Second Amendment, while again telling a blatant lie he has told in the past, multiple times:
Although the Second Amendment never became absolute, it was not a binding law. You couldn’t buy a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed. You couldn’t go out and buy a lot of weapons.
It is a rotten bunch of crap. Even the Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler has slapped Biden with four Pinocchios, at least twice, for lying about the nonexistent cannon restriction.
“Everything in that statement is wrong,” said David Kopel, the research director and Second Amendment project director at the Independence Institute, told WaPo. After 1791, he said, “there were no federal laws about the type of gun you could own, and no states limited the kind of gun you could own.”
This piece, aside from its cannon humor, is an excellent example of the hypocrisy that the left and, more specifically Joe Biden, display. Not only does he lie with impunity, but he also recklessly abandons his convictions.
Toss in Biden’s inability to accept responsibility for anything, And there it is, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is the ineptest president of modern history, if you will, in the history of the presidency.
