On Tuesday, we saw Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of the Democratic-NY and Rep. Ilhan Omar from Minnesota pretending that they were being handcuffed as part of a demonstration outside the Supreme Court. The two of them were not arrested despite playing a role, as they could raise their hands in the air and pretend to be handcuffed.
Rep. AOC and other Congressmen were arrested today outside of the Supreme Court because they protested against abortion rights. #AbortionRightsAreHumanRights pic.twitter.com/gvj9J1o5ic

Omar raised her eyebrows in protest at the claims, and some media outlets still believe them.
There are many reports that multiple women Members of Congress have been reported. @ilhanmnA video that shows Rep Omar’s arrest has been uploaded to Facebook. It features a woman in handcuffs who looks like she is Rep Omar. pic.twitter.com/biXuYIjMFS

Not only weren’t they handcuffed, but they also weren’t even taken in to be processed. They were all gathered near the protest zone, and police checked their identifications. The members of Congress didn’t even have to leave the area. Many even took photos with cops. It’s amazing how human nature can be!
Here’s where they’re being corralled. Katherine Clark, the Assistant House Speaker is also part of this group. pic.twitter.com/2jNIRB2WtU

Talk about cushy treatment for a celebrity “arrest.”
But that didn’t stop AOC and her staff from trumpeting the arrest as though she were heading to Gitmo. People asked her why she was pretending that she was in handcuffs. It was an American conspiracy theory, she claimed.
Lol… but @AOCIt was a lie. Your handcuffs were not used. It’s on video. What do you think is the dumbest thing about people? pic.twitter.com/fniBIG3qvU

AOC! It wasn’t you, AOC. Just some friends that thought it would be a great addition to your photo op.
Then, she claimed that it was because this was the best way to be arrested.
There is no faking. To avoid resisting arrest and other charges, it is best to put your hands behind your head while being detained.
But given how you lied about a fellow rape survivor for “points,” as you put it to me, I don’t expect much else from you. pic.twitter.com/lUc1TPS21D

Twitter was filled with people who claimed they were police officers. It is important to keep your hands close to the police and resist any temptations.
AOC attacked Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), who AOC doesn’t like because Mace pointed out there were no rioters near AOC’s office on Jan. 6, blowing up the image that AOC had been trying to present of what she experienced that day.
Correction: We made a total of 35 arrests for Crowding, Obstructing or Incommoding (DC Code § 22–1307).

What was the reason for their arrest? They received a ticket because they blocked the street. The ticket can be challenged by the defendants or paid $50.
But here was AOC kvelling about her “arrest paperwork” (the ticket).
Your “arrest paperwork” looks an awful lot like a simple citation for obstructing and a $50 fine.#AOCLovesAttention pic.twitter.com/XONmZCR06B

AOC certainly would win if there was an award to honor a drama queen.
Mace did the right thing and released her. Again.
Idk. You are here @aoc breaking your fake handcuff pose for a good fist pump and shout out to the crowd – looking “tough”! Good theater though… 💪🤷🏻♀️🥂 https://t.co/0kfihuevYa pic.twitter.com/68rjopkdMi
