In my latest episode of “A Fresh Perspective,” I detail how and why California Gov. Gavin Newsom has worked hard to become a rising star within the Democratic Party. He launched an attack ad on Gov. Florida, which he did in Independence Day. Ron DeSantis’s run for the state.
I also make a quick comparison between the two states, and the numbers don’t lie when it comes to which offers a better quality of life. This doesn’t seem to be a smart fight for Newsom to be picking, but perhaps that doesn’t matter.
Newsom seems to see an opportunity, despite the Democrats being in serious political trouble. The question is: Will he be the Democratic Party’s champion in 2024?
