According to polls, there are indications that Democrats will not do well in midterm elections. The worst numbers, however, are President Biden’s low approval rating and terrible statistics on managing inflation. CNN claims they are worse than Jimmy Carter’s.
In an interview with Anderson Cooper, Harry Enten, a CNN polling analyst said that the numbers were “awful”. First, the Consumer Price Index is “the worst it’s ever been in a midterm cycle since ’74. It is also the most severe it has ever been during any Presidential or Midterm Cycle since 1980. Biden is disapproving of inflation at “over 70%!” Carter was absent at mid-1978.
The media is to blame for all of this. Biden’s economic woes are often avoided by the media. His “epic” challenges are not his fault. This cannot be put on the “American Rescue Plan”.
