Multiple People Injured During Shooting at South Carolina Mall – Opinion

Columbiana Centre, South Carolina gunman, opened fire on Saturday. Several people were injured. Columbia Police Department reports the shooting around 2:30 PM Eastern.

The injured victims of the shooting are receiving medical attention. At least one ambulance was seen leaving the scene, as law enforcement officers carrying rifles and wearing camouflage vests were viewed walking into Dave & Busters, according to The State.

“We have confirmed that people have been injured during the incident — they are receiving medical attention,” law enforcement tweeted. “We are not yet able to determine the extent of injuries.”

Law enforcement indicated they were evacuating the mall and “working to assess the scene” according to The Associated Press.

It is unknown if any of the fatalities occurred.
