Zelensky Inspires Ukrainians to Stand Up – Opinion

On Monday, Russia and Ukraine had peace talks that did not produce any results. However they agreed to meet once again.

Russia tried to strike Kyiv again after that.

Although the Russians possess all of the weaponry and manpower they need, Ukrainians have been able to stand their ground with courage for several days. Russia’s army is made up of people unwilling to conscripts or people who were not told the truth about their involvement in fighting in Ukraine. However, Ukrainians understand that they are fighting for Ukraine’s survival. Russia reported that over 4,300 soldiers were killed by Russian troops within a span of a few days.

Ukraine’s leader President Volodymyr Zelesky has been a major inspiration to it. Zelensky would have been the perfect man for his time if he were to be called it. A man who some thought was a joke when he ran and won, he’s now become a world hero for the way that he has stood up in the face of the prodigious Russian attack.

When offered an out by the U.S to be rescued, Zelensky said “I need ammunition, not a ride.” He’s taken videos of himself all over Kyiv to let his people know that he stands with them and he’s not cutting and running. He has a new video.

“When I planned to become a president, I said that each of us is the president,” Zelensky declared. “Because we are all responsible for our state. Our beautiful Ukraine. It is now that everyone of us can be a soldier. Every warrior has a place. And I am confident that each of us will win.”

This attitude inspires each Ukrainian soldier to fight. It’s why they’ve held them off now for days. It’s why Kyiv is still standing at this moment. But it’s also why if Kyiv were to fall, the people would fight on.

Former Trump Administration national security official Gen. Keith Kellogg was on “Outnumbered” with Harris Faulkner today and he said that he didn’t think the Russians were doing very well at all, considering these were supposed to be their frontline units. It was indeed embarrassing, and it made people reconsider their previous views about the Russian army.

“There’s an old saying,” Kellogg said. “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight that counts, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.” He said the heart of the army sometimes means more than the physical. “If I was Russia, I’d be very concerned right now. In my opinion, today, Russia is losing this fight…But they’ve shown the whole world that they can be beat and he’s (Zelensky’s) proven it today”

Kellogg posted the following fascinating comparison of Zelensky to Putin.

The Ukrainian defense minister had published the picture.

Now, you can’t forget that Russia has a ton of manpower that they are still going to throw at Kyiv. Indeed, there’s reportedly a huge military convoy on the way to the city now. Kellogg pointed out that the Ukrainians had destroyed a large number of their tanks using Javelins, and they needed more. But the Russians can’t take out all the people. And that’s what they would have to do to fully conquer them and they’re not going to like having to hold onto an occupation because they wouldn’t be able to sustain that and they’ll face massive resistance.

So, the Ukrainian people are reacting to Russian invaders.

Pravda Brewery is now making Molotovs rather than beer, with labels, “Putin is a d**khead.”
