Bringing the hassle back to ABC’s The ViewOn Wednesday, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, a former conservative host returned to commemorate the 25ThThe cast was confronted with her pro-life views on abortion. And her compassion for life was greatly needed on the show as co-host Whoopi Goldberg ghoulishly proclaimed that since “God doesn’t make mistakes” he made her “smart enough to know when” abortion was the right call.
Although the other cast attempted to scare their audience by implying that pro-life laws were being adopted in all 50 states, Joy Behar and co-host Joy Behar made false claims suggesting that women cannot be given treatment for life-threatening ectopic pregnancy. Hasselbeck presented the facts. “So, I think a lot of people try to link those two together,” she called out the falsehood.
Hasselbeck also pointed out how the thing “we’re failing to mention to women as women is that there are options out there that extend beyond abortion.” She then drew attention to the “thousands of agencies that wrap around women” to support them during the pregnancy and after the birth:
However, I believe there are other options. You can find thousands of agencies to help you.
Although I won’t change your minds about it, I want women to know that there are many agencies and nonprofits available to assist you in creating a birth plan. These agencies can help match you with an adoptive or foster family for the baby. So, that option is real and it’s out there. They don’t give women the same information as men. They have an irreplaceable value to me.
“I personally believe not because I believe life has value because I believe our creator assigns value to life and that those lives have plan and purpose over them as designed by God that are not limited to the circumstances of conception, nor the situations they’re born into,” she added.
Goldberg then used Hasselbeck’s beautiful comments about life and God to make her ghoulish proclamation. “God doesn’t make mistakes. God created us intelligent enough to recognize when things aren’t working for us. That’s the beauty of giving us freedom of choice,” she declared. “No. No,” Hasselbeck pushed back.
“Yes. You know what I mean, because you already know the details of my relationship. [with God] is always choppy,” Goldberg quipped. “I also know that God made me smart enough to know that if there are alternatives out there that can work for me, I will investigate them,” Elle added.
So. According to Goldberg’s logic, Adam and Eve made the right decision to listen to the serpent in the garden because they had free will as gifted by God.
She went on to say that “God instructed us to love our neighbor as ourselves. I will not make that decision for anybody.”
Hasselbeck responded by saying that she was going to choose against the wishes of the child’s parents. “What about the life in the womb?” she asked. “I don’t believe there is any circumstance that we should the death penalty to an innocent life.”
As they were going to a commercial break, Goldberg tried to make the term “pro-life” meaningless with her own definition. Hasselbeck stood by to put an end to that.
GOLDBERG Everyone at the table supports life. This is just a reminder. No one is thrilled about having an abortion.

Whoopi should realize that her role in pretending to act as a nun is not enough to make it a success. Sister Act series, it doesn’t make her a theologian.
Goldberg’s ghoulish justification for abortion was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Charmin and Macy’s. The links below provide their contact information.

ELISABETH HASSELBECK – Do you believe that that is an abortion Joy? Is it an ectopic or normal pregnancy?
Joy Behar: This was an ectopic pregnition. Because the foetus was still growing in its fallopian tube. The miscarriage was not an abortion.
HASSELBECK: Right. These two things are often linked together, and I believe that many people do this. And it’s loss of life either way.
BEHAR: But you see what I’m saying? You die. You die.
HASSELBECK: It’s sad, you know, that’s a grief, right?
BEHAR: Yeah.
HASSELBECK : It’s an awful grief. I don’t know if you had fertility problems like mine, but you are here.
BEHAR: Yes.
HASSELBECK, I tried to get acupuncture and had a baby. It doesn’t matter if you were ectopic or had multiple miscarriages. You grieve, and it can be difficult to get pregnant.
The one thing I believe we have failed to communicate to women as women is the fact that there are many options that go beyond abortion. Personal belief is not because life has value. It’s because my creator gives value to all life. And those who live beyond the conditions they were born in have plan and purpose.
However, I believe there are other options. You can find thousands of agencies to help you.
While I may not be able to change your mind, I do hope that women know how to search for nonprofits and agencies to help them create birth plans. They can also match you up with adoptive families who have had miscarriages or who are willing to take care of the child. So, that option is real and it’s out there. They don’t give women the same information as men. They have an irreplaceable value to me.
WHOOPI GOLDBERG (I think so, and you also know that God does not make mistakes. God gave us the intelligence to see when something wasn’t working out for us.
HASSELBECK: No.
GOLDBERG : This is the beauty in freedom.
HASSELBECK: No.
GOLDBERG: Yes. Knowing my relationship means I am able to tell you that my relationships are always messy.
BEHAR: Do you have a relationship with God?
GOLDBERG – It is always chaotic.
BEHAR: Are you with God?
GOLDBERG: Always with God. Because I’m always asking questions.
HASSELBECK: He loves you. It’s clear that you’re his favorite.
GOLDBERG: Listen. Yes, there is no doubt in my mind, but I know God has made me intelligent enough to recognize that there may be alternatives that could work for me. God also said to me, Do unto others what you want them to do for you. This is not a decision I make for anyone.
HASSELBECK, What about the time in the womb. The plan for life is designed by God. In my opinion, there are no circumstances in which we should apply the death penalty to innocent lives.
GOLDBERG : I’m so glad you do.
HASSELBECK: And that’s why I brought this towel.
GOLDBERG: It’s great.
HASSELBECK: This is for all. This is what you need to know. We won’t agree but it’s something I want to let women know. This says, “I’d agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong.”
GOLDBERG – I love it.
HASSELBECK
GOLDBERG Listen. Never think I’m capable of making decisions for you or your family. God knows the depths of my soul, just as God does for most people.
Before we move on, I want to emphasize that no one at the table is against life. Every person at this table believes in pro-life. This is just a reminder. No one is thrilled about having an abortion.
HASSELBECK
GOLDBERG – It isn’t fun.
HASSELBECK – It is a difficult decision. But, life has a plan. There are organizations that can help you to keep your baby healthy.
GOLDBERG : They will. I bet if you look on Elisabeth’s…
HASSELBECK: Instagram.
GOLDBERG – There might be listings at Instagram.
HASSELBECK – I’ll do it today.
GOLDBERG: We have options for all. Everybody has the right.
We’ll be right back. Okay, I’m sorry.
HASSELBECK – I love you.
