Joe Biden’s medical history is extensive. Some were serious enough to endanger your life. Some less serious.
As the current commander in chief, Biden’s health has become a paramount issue of global interest and concern. Most of this concern was focused on the apparent mental and bodily challenges that Biden has presented numerous times at home and overseas.
They include chronic irascibility and falling down on Air Force One’s steps, shaking hands and becoming confused while leaving a stage. He also frequently loses his mind and forgets names. Staff notes from meetings accidentally remind him to greet people and get down. These and other issues have led to talk about the 25th Amendment.
Biden also had 2 brain operations in 1988 to treat life-threatening aneurysms.
Recently, President Donald Trump had several bouts with positive COVID test results. His aides stated that this led to isolation at the White House, and very limited contact with staff. This despite Biden’s multiple vaccinations and ostentatious but notably sporadic mask use.
Today, the White House said Jill Biden had tested positive in South Carolina while on the large family’s latest vacation together at a donor’s mansion. The statement stated that she will remain in South Carolina at a private residence until she gets two consecutive negatives.
Biden fell even though he tried to prove his physical abilities by cycling a bike in the past weeks. That was his fault, he said.
The president spoke with the spectators during another display of bike riding on his recent vacation. But a closer examination of one photo reveals what appears to be a rather unusual and sizeable growth on the left side of the president’s neck.
We spoke to three doctors who said that Biden’s growths would need closer inspection by any medical professionals. None of them had ever seen him. Is this the first time he has had this lump for so long? Has it ever been sensitive to touch or hurt? Is it getting smaller or lighter?
To determine the exact nature of their patient’s condition, they will likely request a biopsy.
The issue of a president’s health is always of keen interest given concern over national security and line of succession. Biden is our oldest president. In November, he will turn 80.
Kamala Harris is Kamala Harris’ hand-picked vice presidential partner, and his presidential successor. Kamala turns 58 in the fall.
It seems that the selection of the California senator was not based on intelligence, strategic thinking or speaking abilities. Even the appeal to her home state of California, which has voted Democrat for decades.
While her propensity to make gaffes and staff turnover is admirable, it’s not quite on the same level as Biden.
Nancy Pelosi is 82 and is next in the presidential succession.
Whatever Joe Biden’s neck lump is, it has not affected his executive workload, which is always light anyway.
