People who pose the greatest threat to democracy use vile distractions.
In 2021, it has become an exhausting dose of hyperbolics. Since the January 6th riot at the Capitol, Democrats and the media (yes, I do know this) have been constantly issuing warnings. The riot and suspicions that led to the election’s success have been described in direct danger of our democracy. That the riot – not an insurrection – did not damage the democracy is hardly an issue for the accusers. The verification vote was not affected by the riot, which took place that evening.
But we keep hearing that nearly every Republican action and proposal is a threat for our democracy. As Vice President Kamala Harris struggled to make this claim, she demonstrated how it has been the standard narrative for her administration, her party and the media. She was like a man with a knife. As she appeared alongside Margaret BrennanOn Face the Nation This narrative was pushed by the author.
Harris answered Brennan’s question about the most serious threat to our national security when Harris was asked. “One of these is honestly our democracy.” She eventually came around to correctly restate her comment, yet it is more than a shining example of her incompetent public performances – this was, after all not a live interview flub but a taped segment where she could have asked to rerecord her comment. This also shows how the topic of this matter is not an automatically retort from those on the left.
This accusatory rhetoric has spread throughout the year. We don’t just see the riot as an attack on our democracy. Items as diverse as states passing Election integrity laws You can find more information here gerrymanderingOur government foundation may be toppled, it is claimed. There have been claims that even Abortion can be repealed laws and “radicalized Christianity” are threatening our democracy. The threats always come from the same source. Republicans exist simply for their existenceThis is the death of all political norms.
It isn’t surprising to look back at what’s happening and realize that it is both projection and political opportunism. Democrats desire to change our political system as they lack sufficient control. The Democrats see January 6th’s event as a way to demand that they do something. You mustProposals for radical changes to governance could be made.
Here is a listing of all items proposed and supported by Democrats in the last year. They are not seen as threats or threats to the democratic system, but rather are sold as necessary tools for their own threats. Take a look at the agendas and proposals that President Trump and his party are pushing, then explain why they’re not threats to democracy.
Mandates to Push
This maneuver is the most obvious, but it’s also one of the most overlooked. Joe Biden has used the pandemic response as a means to exert sweeping federal controls, in violation of states’ rights. It has been mostly ignored that he had stated his desire to do so prior to being sworn into office. The Supreme Court, which is part of democracy, currently addresses the vaccine needs. Worrying is the brazenness with which the Administration is prepared to contest the Constitution. Ron Klain, who was notified that the workplace mandates were in violation, amazingly confessed to OSHA enforcement. Constitutional Workaround. Joe Biden bravely stated that he will continue to push for an eviction moratorium despite not being able to forcefully enforce CDC standards. Until the court orders him to stopThey did. Somehow Biden’s disregard of the Constitution is never labeled as a threat to our democracy.
Election Laws
The various states that are trying to change their voting laws are often demonized. It was decided to create a federal vote rights bill. The first sign that something is wrong with the federal voting rights bill is because the state laws are being described in hyperbolic terms. Biden described Georgia and the other states that have adjusted voting standards, as the return to Jim Crow laws. It is that simple. many of these new standards were less intrusive than other states’ already existing laws is hardly a matter for them. That a federal law would steamroll states’ rights is obviously a threat to our basis as a republic.
Court Packaging
Amazing that what was considered an extreme pipe dream years ago, is now being openly discussed as a feasible option for Joe Biden. Democrats view the courts as an opportunity to circumvent legal rules by electing activist judges. This anger has led them to want to see Biden make radical changes and appoint more conforming justices by fiat. You can see the threat this would pose to his strict leadership by his abrasive attitude toward the Constitution.

Make it better
Joe Biden’s hoped-for, image-establishing spending bill would expand government and grant more permissions to the authorities while centralizing power in D.C. Under the pretext of infrastructure, these broad plans would allow federal tendrils to enter many areas of our society and economy. The included proposal that the government be dissolved is just one of many examples. Subsidize news outletsAll over the country
How to Get Rid of the Filibuster
This foolish debate is a perfect example of how totalitarian control can be achieved. After hundreds of years of tradition, the filibuster is now viewed as a threat to our government system because it cannot be used by the Dems. Now, the filibuster has been called a racist tool that blocks freedoms and hinders service to the nation. It is clear that the colusion has been evident by the fact that the same Democrats invoked the filibuster more than 400 times in order to stop Trump’s proposals.
New States:
One solution to the Senate’s impasse is to support the conversion of Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia and other states into the 51st or 52nd US States. It is not just a cheap ploy, but the Constitution prevents D.C. from becoming a state. The Founders stipulated that the nation’s capital remain a neutral district not governed by a partisan leadership.
The Border
Joe Biden is a total gentleman. Refusal to perform dutyBiden metaphorically opened the borders by opening them. Biden signed many executive orders in his first week of office (which could have been viewed as a threat to democracy). The majority of these measures are effective.we would remove all enforcement actions at our southern border. For Biden to pave the way for the flood of illegal immigrants we are experiencing to this day is a direct and obvious threat to this nation’s integrity.
The Senate’s Makeup
The most absurd proposal in the media is to claim that the Senate is an unjust wing of our bi-cameral government. The press is full of sloppy thinkers, who are quick to complain about the state of our democracy and suggest that the Senate has unbalanced power. They call it unfair that sparsely populated states have the same leverage as more densely occupied states, in either abject ignorance of the reason for the republic’s representation or in defiance of this. Both are direct attacks on this government’s foundation.
When Vox’s @imilhiser looked at 2020 census data, he found California has 68× more people than Wyoming. Both contribute two senators to US Congress.
He found out that the Senate has 41.5 million more Democrats than Republicans. https://t.co/GyHi52bEMs

Pelosi’s Takeover
After the Jan 6th riot, Nancy Pelosi (House Speaker) took steps. Trump’s denial of due process Access to nuclear launch codes is prohibited. She reached out to General Mark Miley on the Joint Chiefs of Staff to keep this access from the President, on the basis of Pelosi’s own assessment of Trump’s mental state. She wrote to her colleagues Democrats declaring that she had received the following: “This morning, I spoke to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike.”There is no sign to threaten democratic propriety like the Speaker. Usurpation of the power and authority of a President standingAlmost every other case has failed to inspire. All the screamings about democracy under attack are heard, but not one voice is willing to talk about this. They’ve moved on from the apparent coup activity that occurred despite the numerous reports in the media.
Look at this list of democratic contrivances. But notice one more detail. All these suggestions are being pursued or examined not by the party that is in power, but instead by the party that insists they were properly elected. While we should accept that Joe Biden was legitimately elected, as the media demands, it’s the Democrats who continue to push for such radical reforms to our democracy system. They have “won” in their estimation, but in the desire to operate with a mandate they need to completely change the rules to suit their desires.
It is their goal to keep them in power. This is the real threat to democracy.
