Watch Progressives Melt Down on Twitter Over Supreme Court Abortion Ruling – Opinion

And the Supreme Court spoke. Roe v. WadeThe case was canceled. This decision, handed down Friday, was much-anticipated, after Justice Samuel Alito had leaked a draft of his opinion to the public last month. Although this outcome was anticipated, pro-abortion activists are losing their cool on social media.

Democratic politicians, members of the activist media, and pro-abortion advocates lamented the demise of their favorite Supreme Court case, viewing it as the end of one of their favorite sacraments – terminating pregnancies. Even though the Supreme Court decision was overturned, RoeSimply put, states decide how to regulate abortion. Leftists act as though this will lead to more women being oppressed.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that “It is today, one of the worst days in American history.” and claimed, “Five unelected justices from the extreme MAGA court are taking American women’s rights..”

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) referred to Friday as a “horrible moment” and noted that “[h]alf of the states are expected to ban abortion.”

Rep. Cori (D-MO), also joined the fray, repeating the ridiculous claim that abortion constitutes healthcare.

Abortion care IS health care. Before this. This will be the case after all.

We don’t care what a far-right extremist Supreme Court that is in a crisis of legitimacy says. Your racist, sexist, classist ruling won’t stop us from accessing the care we need.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D.MA) used her smoke signals to support the pro-abortion crowd. She tweeted a video in which she argued that “a person’s control over if and when to have a child leads to healthy adults, healthy children, and healthy families.” She said that “extremists” opposing abortion “don’t care about health,” but “care about control more than they care about our fundamental constitutional rights.”

Actor Alyssa Milano went typical white progressive Karen and did what these people love to do: Drag black people and other “marginalized” communities into the debate. “Banning abortion is about controlling women and trans men,” she tweeted. “It is about white supremacy, the patriarchy and misogyny.”

Planned Parenthood vowed to continue “fighting” for those seeking to terminate their pregnancies.

Nina Turner, a two-time unsuccessful congressional candidate, raged at the Senate for not allowing the filibuster in codification to be abolished Roe into law. “F*** the Senate for not abolishing the filibuster to codify Roe,” she tweeted.

Last, but most certainly not least, Meidas Touch, an organization that creates leftist content, also said it was a “dark day” for the United States.

Progressives will probably hear more grumbling and crying on the Internet and radio as they come to terms the new reality that the state will decide how to deal with abortion. Jane’s Revenge, a pro-abortion terrorist group, previously vowed that there would be a “Night of Rage” on the day that the Supreme Court handed down its ruling overturning Roe. Democrats are already looking for ways to undermine anti-abortion legislation. Although this ruling represents a major victory for pro-life, it’s clear that the fight is far from over.
