New TV Series: The most vile Gaslight The show has ended with a vengeance. The show, centered around Richard Nixon and the Watergate burglary, went out in gross fashion. Even though Hollywood is hostile to Republicans, Starz’s Starz series was a success. went way beyond, finding it necessary to feature Nixon farting, showering, and a shot of his bare behind.
Images such as Nixon wearing his t-shirt under his clothes were contrasted against shots of Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.
In case you were too dense to understand the metaphor, the show’s creators decided to spell it our for you. Nixon naked/fooling was ineligible for such high office. Get it?

Of course Watergate is a stain on the legacy of Nixon. However, can Hollywood imagine John F. Kennedy being portrayed this way by Hollywood? If the producers Gaslit are unaware, here’s just a few of the things alleged sex predator John F. Kennedy is accused of doing in the White House:
- He coerced 19-year-old intern Mimi Alford — who was at that point a virgin — to have sex with him in his wife’s bed.
- He ordered her to engage in oral sex at the White House pool with Dave Powers, his aide.
- She was later asked by him to do the exact same for Ted Kennedy.
Here’s Alford writing in the Daily Mail In 2012, the World’s Most Powerful Man asked a teenage to sexually serve his 49-year old aide.
While the President and me were playing in the pool with our children, Dave Powers was laying on his back in the water, while my feet were still in the water. Then JFK swam over and whispered in my ear: ‘Mr Powers looks a little tense — would you take care of it?’
That was exactly what I understood: It was an attempt to offer oral sex to Dave Powers.
I don’t think the President thought I’d do it, but I’m ashamed to say that I did. This was an awful, horrible scene that left me unable to bear the thought of it. Dave was cheerful and respectful as he stood at the shallow end and did his job. He sat silently and waited.

I don’t know why I did what he asked.
In 2011, the History Channel willfully complied with the Kennedy family to remove a miniseries that portrayed the family negatively. It wasn’t until 2018 that Hollywood got around to making a movie about Ted Kennedy and Chappaquiddick.
So don’t expect a movie or TV series tearing down JFK as a bullying, disgusting sex monster who destroyed the majesty and dignity of the White House. This legend should be kept alive.
