You can’t imagine what could go wrong.
That’s right — what could go possibly wrong with legislation that would, if passed into law, grant the far-left governor of New York — or Any official of the government or any entity — the unilateral authority to detain Anyone “indefinitely” even Suspected of posing “a significant threat to public health”? It could not be.ThisNot to be misused.
It hasn’t gotten nearly enough attention that New York is considering a bill that would literally give the state the authority to detain people it considers “potentially dangerous to the public health”https://t.co/UxQUrRRsR5

On the New York State Senate site, you can view the bill.
Here’s a relevant section (emphasis, mine):
When clear and compelling evidence is presented that the health or safety of another person has been compromised, Could beEndangered by a case or contact, carrier, or Suspected CaseContact or carriage of contagious illness that is, according to the governor after consulting with the commissioner Could pose a problemA serious and imminent threat to the public’s health, resulting in extreme morbidity, or high mortality, can be ordered by governor of delegee. This includes but isn’t limited to commissioners or heads of local departments of health. The removal and/or detentionSuch Individual or groupderiving it Only one orderYou can identify such people either by name, or using a A reasonably precise descriptionof detained individuals and groups. This person/group of people shall be held by A medical facility, or any other suitable facility or premises as designated by the governor..
The National Pulse also reported Monday’s news:
The bill would “require an individual who has been exposed to or infected by a contagious disease to Complete the prescribed treatment or preventive medicine as directed.,” essentially giving the government the right to detain anyone they want and forcibly vaccinate them.
What’s next, COVID concentration camps? COVID Gestapo? Is this hyperbolic? It is true that permanent detention facilities, as well as those who dump people into them for the pleasure of the government, would never be described in such a way. Hillary would be proud. It makes a huge difference. They are what they’re called?
NY is proposing Assembly Bill A416 which reads“§ 2120-A. REMOVAL AND DETENTION OF CASES, CONTACTS AND CARRIERS WHO ARE OR MAY BE A DANGER TO PUBLIC HEALTH”. This will set a horrific precedence to lock up anyone that’s even suspected of being sick (1/2)https://t.co/MkJ5EwEvZd

Tell me, far-left New York Governor. Kathy Hochul “might not” be tempted to use such power out of spite to punish political enemies, and I’ll tell you that you need to start paying a bit more attention to Here goings-on. Or the Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer or any other Democrat who is on a power-trip. Joe Biden was last seen furiously nodding his approval.
Although the proposal states that individuals and groups cannot be detained for longer than 60 days each, court orders can be made to suspend this maximum time. The court has an extra 90 days for detention consideration. This cycle can be extended to indefinite length if the department approves.
According to The National Pulse the New York General Assembly will vote on this bill at its legislative session which begins January 5, 2022.

Incidentally, COVID-19 isn’t specifically mentioned, suggesting Anyone could be detained and held in isolation until deemed to be non-contagious from “anything.” HIV/AIDS? What is Flu Season? This list could continue.
It is the only thingcontagious here is the left’s hellbent desire to control all aspects of our lives.
