Another trouble coming from Holy See Pope Francis, who is often obscure, once again opts for leftist politics over the more urgent issues facing Church.
According to Catholic News Agency, Pope Francis is in Canada to apologize for the supposed Catholic oppression of Canada’s Indigenous population.
The Supreme Pontiff arrived in Alberta, Canada, on July 24 to meet with numerous leaders from Canada’s indigenous tribes. This trip is a part of his “penitential pilgrimage,” which seeks to make amends for the churches’ supposed role in the abuse and suffering of many of Canada’s native population. The 2021 mass grave that contained 251 indigenous children sparked civil unrest and the destruction many Catholic churches. The mass grave was actually an unmarked site for natives who had died mostly of tuberculosis. It was eventually revealed that these people were given Catholic burials using wooden markers. This eventually led to the site being lost. Most cases, Catholics helped the indigenous people. It was too late and already the damage was done. What was the Canadian government’s response to this anti-Catholic terrorism? Justin Trudeau stated: “I understand the anger that’s out there.”
Pope Francis greeted Canada’s indigenous representatives and Prime Minister Trudeau inside Edmonton International Airport. Photo shows the Pope greeting and kissing one representative. Yikes!
The airport was closed to the public, however the Pope tweeted a message.
My dear brothers and sisters #CanadaTo meet with the native peoples, I am coming among you. My penitential pilgrimage may, by God’s grace and your contribution to the reconciliation journey already begun. You are invited to accompany me. #prayer.

“Dear brothers and sisters of #Canada,” the pope tweeted before his departure, “I come among you to meet the indigenous peoples. With God’s grace I pray that my penitential pilgrimage may contribute to reconciliation. Please accompany me with #prayer.” Unfortunately, instead of asking essential questions about what happened, the media’s role in conflating the story, and the Canadian government not punishing the arsonists, Pope Francis took all responsibility for the violence.
Pope Francis succumbs to the power and atheism of leftist mobs when the Church is weakest. Prayers for the Pope, the Holy Church and everyone!
