Tucker Ridicules CNN+ & Stelter for Their ‘Lack of Self-Awareness’

CNN+ is a colossal failure. The mockery continues. Greg Gutfeld seized every opportunity to make a mockery of CNN+ hours after he had been given it. Five to lampoon the failed streaming service and ship jumper Chris Wallace, Fox News Channel star Tucker Carlson took aim at Brian Stelter for pouncing on the plunge in Netflix’s stock price while propping up the sinking CNN+ ship. 

Carlson discussed the financial challenges Netflix faces, starting with discussing how they started. “the stock price at Netflix which is completely changing entertainment is down dramatically. Just this week, 40%. Why? Well, Elon Musk put it this way, ‘the woke mind virus is making Netflix unwatchable’.” 

Then he turned his attention to Stelter, CNN+ and CNN. “so at CNN, where there is a shortage of self-awareness, supply chain issues apparently. The house eunuch took the opportunity to squeak, to gloat about the fall of Netflix.” He then aired a montage of Stelter joyfully reporting on Netflix’s woes: 

BRIAN STALTER: Netflix’s poor Q1 earnings reports are drawing negative reviews. Stocks are currently in decline. It means that password sharing is now more difficult than ever. 

STELTER: Netflix? More like “notflix”!

ALISYN CAMEROTA – Just stop!

STELTER: That’s pretty bad.

STELTER: What happened to Netflix was that they ran out of their supply. The future was in their hands, and everything would be streamed all the time. And maybe that’s not quite true. 

“They were high on their own supply. They believed that they could do anything. They told themselves lies”Carlson laughed. Add that the shoe is now on the opposite foot “CNN’s own streaming service called CNN+ is now shutting down.” 

After pointing out how CNN’s spokesman Matt Dornic and Stelter spouted happy talk about the long-term success of CNN+, Carlson sarcastically noted that “viewers didn’t agree! Even though CNN+ went on to air several bombshell exclusive interviews including one with Tony Fauci where he said he’s for mask mandates. And yet weirdly nobody watched.”  

Tucker continued to follow Gutfeld’s lead and shot one final time at Chris Wallace in later episodes (watch the video below).

Gutfeld & Tucker are right to mock CNN+ and Chris Wallace. The venture seemed doomed right from the beginning. How could anyone afford to pay to view CNN+ when they offer free access?

Well, it turns out that CNN’s own streaming service called CNN+ is now shutting down. Fox Business’s Charlie Gasparino predicted this would happen weeks ago. In response to that, the spokesman over at CNN Matt Dornic wrote back and scolded him, “for the record, we are very happy with the launch of CNN+ and are bracing for a long run of success.” Weirdly, viewers didn’t agree. Even though CNN+ went on to air several bombshell exclusive interviews including one with Tony Fauci where he said he’s for mask mandates. Yet, strangely no one watched.
