“Chris Hayes is what every man would be if feminists ever achieved absolute power in this country.”
Fox News host Tucker Carlson excoriated MSNBC host Chris Hayes during a Monday segment on his primetime show.
Following an MSNBC town hall event featuring Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and centered around discussion of the freshman congresswoman’s much-vaunted Green New Deal, Carlson opened his show by taking multiple jabs at the “All in With Chris Hayes” host.

“Chris Hayes is what every man would be if feminists ever achieved absolute power in this country,” Carlson said. “Apologetic, bespectacled, and deeply, deeply concerned about global warming and the patriarchal systems that cause it.”
After rolling more footage from the town hall, which was hosted by Hayes, Carlson continued to slam Hayes’ purported lack of masculine energy.
“It looks like Ellen — kind of a fusion show,” Carlson said, referencing Ellen Degeneres’ popular daytime talk show.
The Fox News host also took aim at MSNBC and Ocasio-Cortez. He accused MSNBC of running a glorified advertisement for Ocasio-Cortez, saying the town hall was “designed to promote” her “Green New Deal.”

“This apparently seemed like a wise idea to executives over at NBC,” Carlson said. “The very same news outlet that spent two years lying to you about Russia brings you a 29 year-old former bartender to teach you about science.”
Carlson then turned his ire on Ocasio-Cortez, taking issue with the Bronx native’s rejection of the “Tea Party of the left” label. Ocasio-Cortez said the Tea Party was rooted in “xenophobia” and “white supremacy.”
“Stop with the name-calling, you racist white supremacist xenophobe,” Carlson mockingly says to Ocasio-Cortez.
“So it’s official. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a moron and nasty and more self-righteous than any televangelist who ever preached a sermon on cable access. She’s not impressive, she’s awful,” Carlson added.
Of course, Carlson has a history with both Hayes and Ocasio-Cortez. The Fox News host has made a point of mocking the New York Democrat on multiple occasions, including segments ridiculing her Green New Deal.
