On Monday night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson once again proved why he has the number one show on cable news when he did a brutal takedown of CNN’s Brian Stelter for his sadness over the demise of Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board (DGB) also known as the Ministry of Truth.
Carlson began by laughing at Nina Jankowicz, the ex-head of DGB. “So, by far the most entertaining person Joe Biden has appointed to anything was that Nina woman he put in charge of the Ministry of Truth. She was so ridiculous and provably so that she’s out,” Carlson said.
He then turned his attention to CNN and Brian Stelter: “but at CNN, they are sad. They wanted her there forever.”
Stelter aired Sunday’s clip in which he bemoaned the death of the DGB. He then mocked Stelter, Biden and their obsession with Orwellian ideas of monitoring what Americans are saying on the Internet.
These mannequins will help to ensure that people don’t fall for lies posted on the Internet. But we need the mannequins — some eighty-year-old guy who can’t even speak a complete sentence to help me figure out what’s real.
“That’s his view, he loved the idea of a ministry of truth,” Carlson noted in amusement. Carlson then asked why Stelter liked the idea of a ministry of truth so strongly.
Carlson surmised that “Brian Stelter is in fact, assuming he’s a real person, basically lifted directly from the pages of 1984, the Orwell novel.”
He then read from a passage from George Orwell’s novel 1984 which describes Tom Parsons who “works as a flack for the Ministry of Truth”:
His personality was one of fattish and active men of paralyzing stupidity. He also had a lot of imbecile enthusiasms. The party’s stability was dependent on him, an unquestioning and devoted drudge.
“Now, we’re not saying that’s a perfect, word-for-word description of someone who currently has a media analysis show on CNN, we’re gonna let you judge,” Carlson said, barely able to contain his laughter, before adding that “in case you’re wondering, was George Orwell a prophet? Yeah, clearly he was.”
Ouch! Tucker Carlson is not a fool.

FNC’s Tucker Carlson Tonight
5/23/2022
Eastern 8:27 p.m.TUCKER CARLSON She was so ridiculous and provably so that she’s out. CNN regrets her departure. They wanted her to be there for all time. The eunuch especially exercises his authority over these matters. Watch.
BRIAN STALTER: The Department of Homeland Security Board was supposed to attempt to unite different government departments. Their efforts to prevent people being tricked on the internet by lying sounded logical. But this was doomed. They called it “the ministry of truth” after a conservative term.
CARLSON – They will not allow people to be tricked with lies via the internet. But we need the mannequins — some eighty-year-old guy who can’t even speak a complete sentence to help me figure out what’s real. That’s the eunuch. He has a name, it’s Brian Stelter. That’s his view, he loved the idea of a ministry of truth. Is that why he loves it so much? We realized the truth.
Brian Stelter’s story is, in reality, an assumption that he’s real. It was basically taken directly from 1984, Orwell’s novel. The novel’s eunuch, Tom Parsons is his name. Parsons serves as an aide to the ministry truth. This is how George Orwell described Parsons almost 80 years back. This is what it sounds like for someone who hosts a CNN Weekend Show. He was an active, fattish man with paralyzing stupidity and a mass imbecile enthusiasms. The party’s stability was dependent on him, one of those devoted, unquestioning drudges.
Now, we’re not saying that’s a perfect, word-for-word description of someone who currently has a media analysis show on CNN, we’re gonna let you judge. If you are wondering, George Orwell was a prophet. He was, evidently.
