“David Green ought to get his act together.”
President Donald Trump tweeted Sunday that three Fox News anchors belong on CNN.
Trump asked if the journalists were “trained by CNN prior to their ratings collapse.” He singled out weekend anchors Arthel Neville and Leland Vittert, along with chief anchor Shepard Smith.
“In any event, that’s where they should be working, along with their lowest rated anchor, Shepard Smith,” Trump said.
Were @FoxNews weekend anchors, @ArthelNeville and @LelandVittert, trained by CNN prior to their ratings collapse? In any event, that’s where they should be working, along with their lowest rated anchor, Shepard Smith!

The harsh tweet came after a series of posts criticizing Sunday’s episode of “America’s News HQ,” on which Neville and Vittert interviewed David Green, the local United Autoworkers of American president, about the closure of the General Motors factory in Lordstown, Ohio.

Trump also targeted the GM union leader, calling him a Democrat and telling him to “get his act together”.
Democrat UAW Local 1112 President David Green ought to get his act together and produce. G.M. let our Country down, but other much better car companies are coming into the U.S. in droves. I want action on Lordstown fast. Stop complaining and get the job done! 3.8% Unemployment!

Trump has repeatedly demanded that the Lordstown plan reopen, also criticizing GM management. Later on Sunday, he said that he doesn’t care who is to blame, “I just want it open!”
Just spoke to Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors about the Lordstown Ohio plant. I am not happy that it is closed when everything else in our Country is BOOMING. I asked her to sell it or do something quickly. She blamed the UAW Union — I don’t care, I just want it open!

Smith, meanwhile, has earned the ire of some Trump supporters for fact-checking the president and in one instance last year, spatting with the network’s opinion hosts, including Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham.
Trump has often sparred with the news media, calling it “the enemy of the people” and “fake news. NBC, CNN, The New York Times, and The Washington Post have all been routine recipients of his ire.

By contrast, Trump has often praised Fox News and has reportedly close ties to its managements and hosts.
However, he has repeatedly lashed out at the network in recent weeks. On Saturday, he demanded that Fox News reinstate weekend host Jeanine Pirro, who was reportedly suspended for last week questioning whether Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Minnesota Democrat, practices sharia law – which she said is antithetical to the U.S. Constitution.
Bring back @JudgeJeanine Pirro. The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country. They have all out campaigns against @FoxNews hosts who are doing too well. Fox …..
