There was terrible news in San Antonio, Texas Monday night. Reports indicate that at least 46 migrants died inside a tractor-trailer.

Fox San Antonio reported crews discovered an abandoned 18-wheeler that contained up to 100 migrants at its 9600 block location. This is believed to have been a human smuggling operation.
“This is nothing short of a horrific human tragedy,” San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg said Monday night near the location where the tractor-trailer was found.
According to reports, no children were among those who died. Four children, as well as a dozen adult victims, were brought to the hospital.
The federal government is investigating. Fox also reported the following:
All the deceased victims had evidence of heat-related causes of death and the survivors who were transported to the hospital were similarly suffering heat stroke, exhaustion and dehydration, he said.
McManus explained that although the tractor-trailer was refrigerated and the refrigeration system was working, it was still not functional.
He said that the trailer contained no water.

The Biden administration, however, sees things differently.

The human smugglers apparently haven’t gotten that memo.
